Job Description:
This position will serve as an emergency health care professional providing high quality pre-hospital care. Triage and stabilize all patients with illness and injuries. Assist patients with questions concerning symptoms, medications, and methods of care.
Take responsibility for stock and reorder of ambulance supplies and medication and work with OHS logistics to ensure continuality of care.
Work as a liaison between OHS and its client, taking on new tasks as assigned or necessary. This individual will work closely with administrative and other medical professionals to provide first class patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
On a regular and continuous basis, exercise administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an Impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area.
This position will participate in exercises, special events, and specialized training throughout contract.
This position may serve as a resource in a team environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Current, unrestricted EMT - Paramedic licensed in state of Massachusetts required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Emergency Ambulance/Class E driver’s license for the state of Massachusetts
Ability to function as part of a team, as well as work independently
Knowledge of professional standards of care
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with others
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Basic to advanced computer skills
