Logistics Specialist — Aircraft Carrier Elevators and Hanger Bay Doors
*** This is an immediate long-term job opening for a candidate who is immediately available. It is not a contingency position ***
Location: Navy Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Norfolk, VA

Logistics Specialist Norfolk VA:
The candidate shall have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a logistics specialist.
The contractor shall provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for Cargo/Weapons elevators, Aircraft Elevators, deck edge and hangar bay divisional doors, vertical package conveyors, and other assigned equipment for MARMC Code 253.
Additionally, the contractor shall be familiar with elevator, door, and conveyor terminology and configurations and shall be responsible for producing material readiness assessment reports as defined by the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual, Volume IV, Chapter 8

Type of job: Full time hourly position with benefits
Security clearance required: Yes
Previous relevant Navy experience required: Yes

Seeking candidates with Subject Matter Experience in Tunneling USA locations

Experience/expertise required to do the work for Subject Matter Experts:
JCIDS – The Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), is the formal United States Department of Defense (DoD) procedure which defines acquisition requirements and evaluation criteria for future defense programs
Having at least one person with technical knowledge of “Tunneling” – Tunneling experience as it pertains to this position should include but is not limited to actual subject matter expertise in subterranean tunnel structures, as would be found in catacombs and underground mining operations, would be a differentiator for our team
At least a secret clearance
Knowledge of the Army warfighting function applicable to the locations listed below
