Building Maintenance Engineer

Seeking Building Maintenance Engineer
Locations: Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia (non-war zone)
Willing to relocate (with family)

True North is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer that is motivated, self-starting building maintenance specialist interested in applying engineering expertise to small growing businesses overseas. Candidate must have working knowledge of facilities management, asset life cycles, asset management and preventative maintenance procedures. A strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) offerings and building inspection processes is desired. Candidate must possess the ability and desire to manage a small team of dedicated professionals in CMMS sales opportunities, implementations and/or building inspections. A background in Telecommunications is a plus. Strong multinational communication and presentation skills are required.

Requirements:
1.B.S. Degree in Engineering discipline, Master level or 10+ years industry experience in Maintenance, Telecommunications, and Energy/Power
2.Multilingual: English and Arabic
3.Willing to relocate (with family) to Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia (non-war zone)
4.Willing to travel
Experience: 10+ years

Qualifications:
1.Strong knowledge of predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance of facilities and associated industries
2.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, HVAC, security, fire systems and asset interactions
3.Proficient in the sale, implementation, demonstration, and use of CMMS software systems and how they can improve the efficiency of asset management and building maintenance
4.Deep knowledge of asset tracking, work order scheduling, inventory control and energy management
5.Ability to manage, motivate and lead a small team of dedicated multinational professionals
6.Must possess business development and client management skills to include identifying, acquiring and managing both Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB) clients and key partners
7.Must have excellent writing skills and a background in responding to RFP/RFQ’s
8.Must be willing to be hands-on when necessary
9.Must be capable of working independently and multi-tasking

True North is seeking a motivated, self-starting Operations Manager (Operations/General Manager) to oversee day-to-day business operations, sales and services, and client interactions for small growing businesses overseas. A strong background in full lifecycle real estate and land development projects including P&L, cash flow and budget management responsibilities is required. Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) offerings and building inspection processes is preferred. Candidate must possess the ability and desire to manage a small team of dedicated professionals. Strong multinational communication and presentation skills are required and Arabic language fluency is a must. The ability to oversee efficient business operations and demonstrate sound decision making without direct oversight are also highly desired skills.

Requirements:
1.B.S. Degree in Business Management/Engineering or related field; Masters level preferred
2.10+ years business operations and management experience in building
3.Multi-lingual (Arabic preferred)
4.Willing to relocate (with family) to Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia (non-war zone)
5.Willing to travel

Experience: 10-12+ years of relevant experience
Qualifications:
1.Ability to manage resources, track business processes, meet company goals, and maintain and grow client relationships
2.Strong financial management skills related to day-to-day business operations – P&L and cash flow responsibilities, ability to execute and manage a budget
3.Technically savvy as related to business management applications, tools systems
4.Strong background with sales cycle, closing deals and familiarity responding to RFP’s

True North is seeking dependable Facilities Manager to manage day-to-day facility operations. Candidate must be more comfortable with technology than the typical end user of most technical products and be a “handy man” type. The person should also be an experienced international traveler, and if they have lived overseas in more austere/restrictive environments before that is a definite plus. Someone who has a property management or building maintenance background, and/or a specific trade such as a carpenter, electrician, HVAC, computers, etc., is preferred. Candidates who are proficient with computers, software and/or technology will also be considered.

Requirements:
1.High School Degree with a trade/licensed profession preferred, secondary education a plus
2.Experience with facility/property/office management or maintenance
3.Multilingual with a level 3 English language ability
4.Willing to relocate (with family) to Middle East, North Africa, Southeast Asia (non-war zone)
5.Willing to travel
Experience: 10 years

Qualifications:
1.Experience with real estate development, management or construction preferred
