Senior Systems Engineer for Aberdeen, MD
Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work in the Development Environment.
This is a full time position at Aberdeen, MD.
The selected candidate will perform system engineering functions including: conceptualization, design, implementation, and optimization and be knowledgeable in the application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols in the Army and DoD environment. Additionally, infrastructure management tasks to include, but not limited to, installation of operating systems and approved development and support applications, implementation of system imaging process to facilitate operating systems and system rebuild.
Required Qualifications:
•Must have extensive knowledge of Host Base Security System (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) as well as backup and recovery of Microsoft SQL, and Oracle Database servers.
•Significant experience and knowledge in software and systems analysis, design, and deployment on Windows, Unix, Linux, including virtualization and databases
Desired Education / Certification:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering or related discipline .
•CompTIA Security+
•MCSE

•Automation of Business Processes using SharePoint 2013 Workflow capabilities within SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
•Planning, creation, configuration, customization, checks, and remedy of issues related to SharePoint Sites and user requirements
•Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence based on key performance indicators
•Experience creating and/or implementing graphical design for customer SharePoint site branding
•Management of site collection permissions
•User training, provisioning, and management of SharePoint 2013 sites
Required Skills:
•SharePoint 2013 certification required within 6 months of start date
•Active Secret clearance
•Minimum two years of professional experience supporting technology delivery to commercial or government clients
•Minimum two years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery (or related libraries) and CSS3/HTML5
•Two years of experience using SharePoint Designer to customize and support SharePoint Sites
•Extensive workflow development using out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities and/or SharePoint Designer
•Proven ability to participate in the analysis of IT and business issues
•Proven experience to indicate a record of information security awareness and discipline in information systems development and sustainment
Desired Skills:
•Experience with SharePoint in the US Army unclassified network or DoD environment highly desired

Quality Control Specialist Secret Clearance for O’Fallon, IL
Data Systems Analysts, Inc. has an opening for a Quality Control Specialist – position in O’Fallon, IL 62269.
SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
This is a full time position in O'Fallon, IL. Responsible for evaluating GDSS software/applications and associated documentation. Participates in formal and informal reviews to determine software development quality. Participates in the development of software quality assurance (SQA) plans, examines and evaluates the SQA process and recommends enhancements and modifications, and develops software development and process workflow quality standards. Responsible for QA tasks related to software quality assurance, testing, and reporting; organizing and participating in monthly Quality Control Program Plan meetings; producing QA reports tracking program issues and concerns reviewing program documentation to ensure quality standards; and perform Root Cause Analyses working with developers, functional and testers to investigate the source of issues and report same. Candidate will review all deliverable material before delivery to the customer to ensure all workflow processes at all levels were followed and that material meets accuracy specifications. Candidate will assist with the development and maintenance of GDSS application Test Design Specifications and Test Cases; create and execute manual and automated test scripts as required; record and track discrepancies; perform informal and formal testing activities including functional and regression testing as necessary; and create and update test design documentation.
Minimum knowledge, skill and abilities:
•Knowledge of software requirements development and systems analysis and design.
•Knowledge of the SDLC and QA life cycle
•Capable of writing and modifying test plans
•Capable of developing and/or translating use cases into a test or QC framework
•Knowledge of project management techniques
•Experience working with Use Cases
•Experience working processes at the strategic, enterprise and/or system level.
•Microsoft Office and process modeling skills.
•Knowledge of database uses and design desired
Education and Certification:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other discipline related to software engineering. (With four (4) years of general experience of which at least two (2) years must be specialized experience, a degree is not required. Specialized experience may include: facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, testing, business process improvement, business management techniques, or information system development methods.)
