Litho Supervisor

Responsibilities and requirements:
Supervises employees and operations in the litho plant.  Responsible for production efficiency, safety, quality, and maintenance during the shift.
Knowledge in litho layouts, print color, and coatings for both interior and exterior of products preferred.
Prefer experience and ability to set up 45" Tandem Hoe Presses to print both process and line colors.  Additional experience in set up of 15" Wagner coasters and coating applications preferred.
Experience formulating and mixing ink to correct color.
The Supervisor will also maintain thorough knowledge of processes and equipment and train production employees as necessary. 
 Prefer experience in 5S environments.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment, solid leadership ability, good communication skills and the ability to lead teams.  The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong mechanical skills and solid decision-making abilities.

Prefer Associates Degree or BS Degree.

Plant Maintenance Manager
 
Nature and Scope:

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for all facility maintenance requirements and interacts with operators, engineers, management, vendors, and customers. Requires experience with: tooling, preventive maintenance, budgeting and staff management including maintenance and engineering employees.

Manager provides technical maintenance support and leadership which ensures the continuing quality, technical, and growth of the plant’s injection/blow mold operations. This support is defined as providing engineering maintenance leadership for plant programs in process development, preventative maintenance, tooling and equipment up-grading programs.  Responsible for actively leading and project management for continuous improvement, customer, and capital equipment operations and projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

•Manage maintenance of all equipment to the highest safety standards
•Provide ongoing technical support to plant operations to ensure optimum quality and delivery performance for entire facility
•New equipment installations and debugging/troubleshooting of new product production lines
•Product and process improvement
•Establishing guidelines for preventative maintenance of equipment
•Assisting plant production and quality assurance in maintaining processes and maximizing machine performance and quality issues
•Manage, monitor and improve the corporate preventative maintenance programs
•Research and implement advances in tooling and equipment
•Manage facility and ensure all systems are efficiently operational including compressors, chillers, and cooling towers

Experience and Education Required:

•BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience required.  
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related position in manufacturing within the plastics industry strongly preferred
