JOB DESCRIPTION for Medical Operations Specialist
We are seeking candidates to join our Medical Operations team for both day and overnight shifts. The Operations Specialist role is an office based role where you will be performing a combination of telemedicine, logistics, and research work. The telemedicine and logistics are in support of operations that come in to the office from our members and the research is done in preparation for future operations (locating and establishing relationships with hospitals, air providers, etc.). Candidates must be an RN, EMT-A/P or above. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
We have two shifts available: 08:00-20:00 and 20:00 – 08:00.

RESPONSIBILITIES for Medical Operations Specialist
•Staff emergency access telephone lines in our operations centers to respond to patient health events and other emergencies
•Manage and coordinate logistics for field rescues from remote locations and patient transfers to/from hospitals (includes air, ground, sea, etc.)
•Follow, maintain and improve protocol, process and quality standards for patient response and transport
•Execute assigned non-operational  general office tasks with diligence and precision
Deploy domestically and internationally in support of ongoing operations

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS for Medical Operations Specialist
•RN, EMT-A or Paramedic
•College degree preferable
•Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
•Must be well-spoken and well-written
•Basic computer skills required
•Willingness to work non-traditional  hours
•Highly energetic and motivated to succeed
•Mission focused orientation, interest in “doing whatever it takes” to help those in need
•Attention to detail and follow-through
•Efficient time management and organizational skills
