Business Intelligence Developer – SQL, SSIS, and SSRS Guru - Afghanistan

Your primary responsibilities in this role will require expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL. Your primary responsibilities include writing complex stored procedures, reports, triggers, ad-hoc queries and working with development team members. You will also be required to troubleshoot and optimize the performance of the database and stored procedures. You must be detail oriented to succeed in this role.
Required: Able to obtain security clearance at Secret level as a minimal
Plus: Active Secret Clearance minimum, highly desired Top Secret /SCI Eligible
Required: Must be a US Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
Responsibilities:
Rapid development of database objects, optimization of data, loading and enriching data through the use of SSIS.
Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems.
Lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.
Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system and implement ETL packages for various application data sources.
Creating workflow and technical diagrams and other documentation.
Develop procedures to manage software development life cycle including documentation of all artifacts.
Building stored procedures, functions, and views and integrating them with SSRS, SSAS, and third party applications.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 4 years experience designing and supporting SQL2000, SQL2005 or SQL2008 Server databases.
Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.
Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
Strong track record of delivering business intelligence functionality leveraging Microsoft's SSAS, SSIS and SSRS components.
Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Experience with enterprise software data conversions.
Must display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
Experience supporting MS Dynamics GP and SharePoint is also a plus.
Required:
-Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) and/or one or more of the following - significant experience may substitute for certifications if technical interviews reveal strong equivalent experience and training to that of a holder of this certification.
- Microsoft MCTS – SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development.
- Microsoft MCITP – Business Intelligence Developer 2008.
