Proposal Writer - Arvada, CO

Pathfinder Systems, Inc. is a leading edge software and systems engineering firm. We perform research and development, analysis, engineering, and manufacturing & engineering service support for government and industry. We have a current opening for a proposal writer with experience writing complex proposals for submission to the U.S. Government and large commercial entities. The successful candidate must have prior experience, must be ready to jump right in, and must be capable of working with little supervision. Job Responsibilities:

- Continually search for and identify proposal opportunities.
- Write and manage proposal preparation process.
- Ensure each proposal conforms to the solicitation requirements, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Track all phases and/or milestones throughout the proposal preparation phase and submission.
- Meet all deadlines.
- Keep senior corporate executives apprised of the status of each proposal.

Required:

- U.S. citizen
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Minimum of three years of experience as a proposal writer
- Must reside in Denver-metro area (no relocation reimbursement)

Experience Requirements:

- Ability to write and manage technical, management, past performance, and cost volumes of proposals.
- Must be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Ability to construct pricing spreadsheets, Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
- Ability to work closely with senior corporate executives.
- Expert level expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Military experience is preferable, but not necessary.
