Job Description
This position / labor category is staffed in accordance with the requirements described below:
Conduct protective service operations under the direction of the DS Agent In Charge (AIC) named in the Task Order.
The DL shall be designated as protective security specialist (P).
The DL is required to attend the protective security specialist (PSS) training course as outlined in Exhibit E.
The DL shall maintain weapons qualification as outlined in this contract, with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47.
DL vetted personnel are authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of the Deputy Detail Leader, the Shift Leader, the Protective Security Specialist, the Detail Leader/Guard Force Commander, and the Deputy Detail Leader/Guard Supervisor in case of shortages with the approval of HTP.
All aspects of organizing, managing, supervising, and scheduling of PRS detail and Emergency Response Team  / Quick Reaction Force (ERT/QRF) personnel to ensure that protective security requirements of the contract and task order are met.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Ensuring that all protective security specialists, including ERT/QRF members, are properly trained, equipped, briefed, and mentally and physically prepared each time they are dispatched on protective services assignments.
Developing and implementing plans for the following; Route surveys, Alternate routes, Safe havens, Contingency operations, Facility Perimeter Security, Foot Patrol Coordination, and Evacuation.

Must meet all of the below qualifications:
U.S. Citizen/TCN/LN, as specified in the Task Order
Level 3 English proficiency (see Exhibit A).
Seven (7) years experience in protective security assignments.
Two (2) of these years must have been in a protective security supervisory or in-charge capacity described below.
Twelve (12) additional months shall have been experience working in protective security under a WPPS, WPPS II contract or similar program.
Three (3) of these months shall have been as a WPPS or a WPPS II Deputy Detail Leader.
The remaining five (5) years of experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services that require skills similar to those outlined in Exhibit E (Training Curriculum) of this contract.
