NY Mets Honor Veterans/Reserve Units/Active Duty/National Guard/USCG at Home Games

Dear Veteran:

Combat Wounded Veterans of America is fortunate to once again be working with the New York Mets and “Welcome Back Veterans” (http://www.welcomebackveterans.org/) on the Mets’ Veteran of the Game program.

The Mets would like to honor you and/or a family member that served (or is currently serving) in the United States Military.  As part of this opportunity, the honoree will receive a total of four complimentary Delta Sky360 Club first row seats.  During the 3rd inning, the honoree will be introduced over the public address system and shown on the video board in center field.

In addition, photos that you provide of your military service, and highlights of your military bio will be announced over the P.A. system and on the video scoreboard.  Your picture will be displayed on the video scoreboard in center field and the announcer will read your military biography. Honorees will be asked to attend in military uniform if possible or CWVA attire (hat or polo) or even a military ballcap (eg noting veteran’s military era).
The pictures should be good quality images of at least 800x800 resolution (or higher) taken during your time in the military.  Images of you in uniform during a deployment are preferred.

PLEASE NOTE:
1) Any active duty member or veteran of any age or era who served in the military and was discharged honorably is eligible to be invited as the Mets Veteran of the Game.
2) You are not eligible for this honor if you previously have been recognized as the Mets Veteran of the game.  However, you may attend as a guest as another honoree if you have previously been honored.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, please send at least four (4) photos in JPEG (.jpg) format via email along with your military biography and the information requested below to:
