Director – Engineering Operations for Carlisle, PA
To directly supervise and coordinate activities related to engineering design, and to perform management functions to include budgeting, accounting, marketing and public relations. To direct, monitor and measure operating areas to assure achievement of established company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
1. Maintain strong public relations and communication practices through telephone contact, correspondence and meetings for business development and retention.
2. Identify new opportunities for contracts or expansion within operating area.
3. Promote an atmosphere of a safe work environment in accordance with approved safety rules and regulations.
4. Ensure high quality safety and service standards are met for all projects/contracts
5. Ensure all Managers develop a thorough understanding of specifications of assigned projects/contracts.
6. Monitor operating performance on a weekly basis, tasking or directing corrective action, as needed, to assure required performance in all areas.
7. Ensure proper and timely completions of all customer requirements in accordance with contracts.
8. Ensure proper and timely completion of all deadlines in accordance with contracts.
9. Ensure the thorough inventory of all company assets.
10. Maintain sound business relationship with management of customers and suppliers to assure support.
11. Administer direct labor utilization to ensure attainment of budgeted Field Labor Margins.
12. Prepare an annual budget in coordination with pertinent management and in accordance with corporate guidelines.
13. Maintain thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures and ensure compliance by all employees.
14. Conduct regular staff meetings with assigned personnel and assure awareness of company objectives and goals.
15. This position involves overnight travel up to 50% of the time.

Supervisory Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain an effective company through selection, training, review, compensation and motivation of all staff.
2. Provide guidance and direction to all staff for professional development and to insure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
