DUTIES:
If selected for this position, you will serve as a Stakeholder Manager for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Stakeholder Manager, you will serve as the lead liaison for the Federal Security Director (FSD) and various stakeholders concerned with aviation security policy at a medium to small airport. Duties include:
•Working closely with leadership to develop, coordinate, implement and maintain a program to communicate to stakeholders TSA's policies, programs and directives.
•Identifying and responding to stakeholder's questions, programs, and concerns regarding security.
•Recommending changes to improve communications with stakeholders.
•Working to identify and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of aviation security policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for the SV-I Pay Band (equivalent to GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-H Pay Band or GS-12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in private sector experience. Specialized Experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience includes work using evaluation methodology; formulating organizational objectives and strategies; identifying and analyzing issues for input to solutions and recommendations; and a demonstrated ability to respond appropriately to the customer service needs of a variety of stakeholders.
Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
