Registered Nurse for Milford, MA
Progressive, employee-friendly Onsite OHS is seeking full time, qualified Registered Nurses to provide occupational medical exams in a clinical setting.
Perform a full range of registered nursing concepts and practices on site, using furnished facilities, equipment and supplies to a variety of patients. All aspects of nursing services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the Medical Department including but not limited to the items listed below.
Job Duties:
Examinations to include-
Vital signs including blood pressure, pulse and temperature
Vision and audiology testing
Height and weight with BMI
Baseline EKG
Spirometry
Physical examination with appropriate laboratory testing
Dermatological exams
Pulmonary Function tests
Chest X-ray
EKG
Vision Screening
Audiogram
Inventory medicine and drug stocks to ensure adequate supplies and controls
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur in addition to regular scheduled appointments
Provide instruction to clinic staff and or patients on an ad hoc basis
Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Diploma from an accredited school of Nursing (Registered Nurse at a minimum)
Current unrestricted license to practice nursing in the State of Massachusetts
A minimum of two (2) years of recent professional experience in the field
Current BLS by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or ACEP Certification
Certification by a Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) for Audiometric testing
Certification by a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for Spirometry
Physically capable of performing all nursing services with reasonable accommodation
