Job Description:
The Operations Coordinator will perform advanced policy administration and managerial work. Work involves a special knowledge of government contracting at state and/or federal levels, strategic planning, and company administration. This position will work closely with the Director on the day-to-day operations of the company. May plan or supervise the work of others. Will have the ability to work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Principal Accountabilities:
Aids in identification of customer requirements and oversees the development of appropriate work processes to meet customer needs during the planning stage for new projects
Monitors assigned mission operations and integrates all elements of the organization to ensure schedules are maintained within performance standards
Ensures accuracy and completion of team assignments and tasks
Reviews and approves all assigned personnel’s reports verifying content and compliance
Serves as point of contact for multiple sites on project operations activities
Acts as a point-of-contact for operations in the absence of the Director of Operations between project leadership and Onsite OHS management team
Ensures compliance with all required reporting requirements
Compiles and submits operational status reports to senior management on project issues
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by senior management
Aid in providing oversight of procurement and logistical operations in support of projects
Communicate and present complex issues and potential solutions to the Director as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills:
Understanding of the Scopes of Work for each contract
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Excellent follow through and time management skills
Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience & Education:
Experience in an Operations role (may substitute experience working with contingency contracts)
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Generally works in an office environment, however may be required to travel domestically or internationally on short notice, to austere environments with harsh living conditions for an extended period of time, not to exceed six weeks
Travel
Must have a valid US passport
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Ability to obtain security clearance and clear background check
Ability to pass all deployment/fit for duty requirements
