Progressive, employee-friendly OHS is seeking Registered Nurses to provide medical support services in the event of a natural or manmade disaster. Our mission is to support the first responders, contractors, and subcontractors of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Responder Support Camps (NRSC)) in their selfless effort to meet emergency needs and provide a bridge of assistance until individuals and families can resume a normal life.

In this position you will be required to perform a full range of professional nursing concepts and practices on site, using furnished facilities, equipment and supplies to a variety of patients. All aspects of nursing services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the medical mission including but not limited to the items listed below.

Responsibilities:
Deliver treatment to all patients presented for care within the personnel and equipment capabilities
Administer basic treatment and over the counter medications
Inventory medicine and drug stocks to ensure adequate supplies and controls
Provide immediate evaluation and management of problems as they occur
Work collaboratively with healthcare team to provide the best possible care
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Diploma from an Accredited Registered Nurse Program
Current unrestricted license to practice nursing in the United States
FEMS National Incident Management System (NIMS) training/coursework
Current BLS/CPR/AED by the AHA, or ARC Certification
Current ACLS certification by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or ACEP
Ability to deploy and arrive at the disaster NRSC site location within 36 hours of notification
Ability to work well under pressure, using limited resources, in an austere environment, for long periods of time
Physically capable of performing all nursing services with reasonable accommodation
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Experience in disaster relief or an austere environment is preferred, but not required
