Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10049 Simi Valley will host a special Pearl Harbor Commemoration Ceremony marking the 74th anniversary of the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor Hawaii on Monday, December 7, 2015. The
program will be held at the VFW Museum of Military History, 1555 Simi
Town Center Way, 93065, Suite number 220 beginning at 17:30 hours (5:30 P.M.) Early arrival is recommended, as seating is limited. The program will conclude at 6:30 P.M. Admission is free to the pubic.
The
Commemoration Ceremony will chronicle the events of December the 7th,
1941 with a moving program of military theater, original military Poster
Art and memorabilia of World War Two. World War Two Veterans and their
families will be in attendance sharing their remembrances of "The Day that will Live in Infamy" as
was memorialized in President Franklin Roosevelt's famous address to
the Congress of the United States on December the 8th, 1941.
Following this ceremony, a special viewing of the famous movie "From Here to Eternity" will be shown at the newly opened Studio Movie Grill located on the west side of the Simi Valley Town Center. Reservations can be made on the SMG website. Seating
is limited with all proceeds donated to support the VFW Museum of
