LOCATION: HI - Maui

DESCRIPTION:
Planned Systems International, a Government Contractor celebrating 25 years, has an opportunity available for an experienced to join our team in Maui, HI

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
The candidate’s core responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to:
•Supporting all phases of security engineering and security infrastructure.
•Participating in formal certification, test, and evaluation activities.
•Assessing current system requirements and assisting in the development of system specifications.
•Validating security configurations.
•Identifying vulnerabilities and exploits.
•Making recommendations to address deficiencies in specific areas.
•Developing and maintaining Certification and Accreditation documentations (SSP, Security CONOP, Security Architecture, Privileged Users Guide, etc).
•Participating in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware systems and subsystems.
•Developing system documentation and integration of COTS and GOTS.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
•4-7 years security engineering, architecture, design development, or ISSO experience.
•Familiarity with DCIC 6/3 security requirements and DIACAP process.
•Experience in Information Assurance in the DoD arena. Specifically Certification and Accreditation(C&A) of IT systems based on the DIACAP.
•Must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
o             Privacy Act and HIPAA
o             IA policies, procedures and regulations such as DOD IA Directives 8500.1 and 8500.2 as well as DOD 8510.2.
•Excellent analytical skills.
•Possess technical leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
•Must be able to multi-task and be self-sufficient in the MS Office Suite.
•Must have good oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to travel within the U.S.
•U.S. Citizenship required as well as ability to obtain an ADPII government background investigation.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
•Healthcare IT experience.
•Military Healthcare knowledge.
•Previous Learning Management experience a plus.
