ScaleMatrix is seeking an experienced Linux systems administrator to work the CA 3tera AppLogic virtualization/cloud environmental.
This is a San Diego, CA opportunity.
Linux System Administrator/AppLogic Developer.
Responsibilities include installing, configuring and maintaining AppLogic grids for customers, as well as wrapping and encapsulating existing software application to function within AppLogic.
Required knowledge and experience include:
Linux (any distro; CentOS or RHEL preferred)
Installation and configuration
Command line tools
Security principles and hardening
Networking (interfaces, SSH, iptables)
Services such as Apache and MySQL
Bash or shell scripting
Virtualization hypervisors such as Xen, KVM or Vmware ESXi
The following are also desirable:
Familiarity with Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008 (any versions)
Any Microsoft certifications
SQL Server or Oracle experience
