ArmorGroup North America is looking for a Project Manager to work in a high threat environment in Kabul, Afghanistan.  The candidate who meets the requirements will be responsible for managing the contractor’s site support workforce and serve as the contractor’s liaison with the U.S. Embassy in Kabul Afghanistan.  ArmorGroup is looking for an individual who can meet strict professional and ethical standards and represent the United States abroad.

What is expected of the Program Manager for the Kabul Embassy Security Force?
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the management of security policies and procedures, to ensure that the necessary safeguards are provided in support of the U.S. Embassy, Consulates and other U.S. Facilities.  Requirements include adjustment of schedule, in order to be available for assignments on evenings, weekends and holiday periods without additional compensation.   ArmorGroup is looking for an individual who possesses a sense of pride in their performance.  The Kabul Embassy Security Force program is an opportunity to advance your career and to lead an elite group of individuals who have taken the next steps in supporting the mission of the United States Government.

Program Manager Qualifications: 
Has not been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor involving moral circumstances during the 5 year period preceding the date of this contract 
Has not been declared incompetent by any court of competent jurisdiction by reason of mental defect 
Has not suffered from habitual drunkenness, from narcotics addiction, or from dependence as evidenced by a recognized drug/alcohol testing procedure 
Is in good physical condition with no health deficiencies, whether temporary or long lasting, that would impair performance of duties 
Is proficient with the Glock 19 and able to pass the Department of State qualification shoot                                    
Additionally, Qualified Individuals Must:
Be a U.S. Citizen
Have a valid passport and Driver’s License
Be fluent in English (Level 3)
Have a Bachelor’s degree [four (4) years of directly related experience may be substituted for degree]
Have an active personnel security clearance at the Top Secret level, prior to deployment
Have fifteen (15) years total experience to include program support (of the 15 years total experience, 10 years specialized experience in physical/personal security related programs and a minimum of five (5) years law enforcement, military experience, or guard force management)
Have professional and/ or managerial experience in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and interpretation of government regulation
Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
Be capable of solving complex problems
Be capable of communicating solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Function effectively in adverse environments
Not be adverse to overseas travel to countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy
Have general experience in program support including experience in a professional or managerial capacity, as well as in, planning, evaluating, analyzing, or implementing governmental security type programs
Have specialized experience (defined as having progressively responsible professional or managerial experience administering security related programs in the government or public sector environment)
Be capable of passing a background investigation, pre-employment drug screening, physical agility test, and medical physical
