Key Role for Software Test Engineer Virginia:
Perform complex testing and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Provide expertise in software testing, test methodology, test development, and test execution and report generation. Apply knowledge of one or more systems, extensive knowledge of one or more platforms, and of programming languages. Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in a software testing role
-Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows and experience providing direct support within Intelligence Communities
-Experience in testing SaaS, PaaS, Cloud, or Web-based apps in various browsers on Mac and Windows systems
-Experience in authoring clear bug reports with all the relevant details
-Experience in implementing automation scripts for mobile apps and desktop Web sites to enhance efficiency of Release Candidate testing
-Experience in discovering show stopper bugs and finding reproduction steps to crashes
-Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, including document parsing techniques and managing large data sets, such as multi TB scale
-Knowledge of Web services environments, languages, and formats, including RESTful APIs, HTML, JavaScript, XML, KML, SOAP, and JSON
–TS/SCI Secret Clearance a MUST
-BS degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering
