Onsite OHS is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse Granbury TX to provide medical services to designated beneficiaries in a clinical setting.

Job Duties for Registered Nurse Granbury TX:
In this position, you will be required to perform a full range of professional nursing concepts and practices on site, using furnished facilities, equipment and supplies to a variety of patients. All aspects of nursing services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the Medical Department.
Treat patients, educate patients about various medical conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients’ family members
Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms
Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
Operate medical machinery
Administer treatment and medications
Help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
Prepares patients for surgical and or diagnostic procedures
Provide post-op care
Inventory medicine and drug stocks to ensure adequate supplies and controls
Provide immediate evaluation and management of problems as they occur in addition to regular scheduled appointments
Provide instruction to clinical staff and or patients on an ad hoc basis and periodic basis
Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations
Liaison and report to higher facility as required for patient’s continuum of care
Work collaboratively with healthcare team in Primary Care
Provide care management
Ensure completion of Veteran education assessment
Assessment of urgent care
Clerical duties as needed
Provide walk-in patient education in diabetes, hypertension hyperlipidemia, etc.
Support all clinic functions
Meet all Joint Commission Standards
Other duties as assigned

Requirements for Registered Nurse Granbury TX:
Diploma from an Accredited Registered Nurse Program
A current unrestricted state license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Experience in Outpatient Clinical setting in Family Practice Clinic or Internal Medicine
Experience in wound care
Experience in management preferred
Experience working with veterans strongly preferred
Venipuncture skills
Strong management skills
Ability to work well with others
Physically capable of performing all RN services with reasonable accommodation
