Technician/Installer for Utah Data Center Project
Must be U.S. Citizen possessing minimum SECRET level clearance. Minimum 2 years of current and verifiable experience with fiber optic and Category 6 shielded cable installation and termination. BICSI certification a plus.
Work independently or as part of a crew performing various tasks such as pulling, terminating and testing copper and fiber cable, installing cable tray and various other types of cable support hardware – both pre-term and field terminated. Proficient in the use of hand tools, including various punch tools, test equipment, and various power tools such as hammer drills and saws.
Capable of reading blueprints and cut-sheets as well as generating test reports and as-builts.
Proficient in the use of various types of copper and fiber cable and termination hardware as well as termination and testing procedures using a DTX-1800 and/or OTDR on a day to day basis.
Working familiarity or current certification with Hitachi Cable product line, Leviton Network Products, Eaton/Write line enclosures, and Panduit cable support systems a plus.
Experience with closet build-out (i.e. installation of overhead cable support systems, enclosure placement/grounding, under-floor cable tray installation, etc.) a plus.
