Telecommunication Support Services (TSS), a worldwide engineering and technical services provider for the commercial and government sectors specializing in broadband, radar, satellite, and wireless, has openings for radar technicians with experience on any of the following radars:  TPS-43E, TPS-63, TPS-70, TPS-73 or TPS-75. Travel within Mexico will be required

Radar Technicians with experience on any of the following radars:  TPS-43E, TPS-63, TPS-70, TPS-73 or TPS-75 – Location MEXICO

Selected applicants will:
Have U.S. Citizenship
Have a SECRET level Government Security Investigation or have the ability to obtain one
Have 3 years minimum of hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following:
·                    AN/TPS – 43E
·                    AN/TPS – 63 
·                    AN/TPS – 70
·                    AN/TPS – 73 
·                    AN/TPS – 75 
Speak Spanish or have the willingness to learn Spanish to attain fluency
Experience working with property control, logistics, and quality standards
Possess and maintain ability to lift 50 lbs.
Possess and maintain ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, etc., as required
Valid U.S. passport required

Responsibilities include:
Perform Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities on the RADAR and all prime mission equipment
Provide training to personnel on RADAR operation and maintenance
Monitor in-country parts usage and ensure that an adequate amount of RADAR and prime mission equipment parts are on site at all times
Track site RADAR work orders and aid in the completion of required reports
Perform inspections on the RADAR and prime mission equipment
Maintain RADAR and prime mission equipment historical records
Act as an in-country point of contact on all site related matters
Monitor RADAR data quality
Track and monitor Test Equipment (TMDE) calibration intervals 
Maintain RADAR related publications and Technical Orders
Maintain objective quality evidence including configuration documentation and other records as required
Perform additional duties as needed to accomplish project requirements

Position is assigned to a remote location with no family accommodations. System refresher training along with ancillary equipment training will be conducted in Melbourne, Florida prior to operational deployment - Mexico.
