Job Description -  Designated Defensive Marksman
ArmorGroup North America is looking for Embassy Guard Force personnel, to work in a high threat, austere environment.  These Designated Defensive Marksmen will provide a range of security services, which may include functioning as a tactical member of the Emergency Response Team, performing as an expert rifleman in the capacity of a Defensive Marksman, detecting hostile observation activities special event security and static security.  This Embassy Guard Force contract requires security professionals who can meet strict professional and ethical standards and professionally represent the United States abroad.


Designated Defensive Marksman Requirements:
Possess a minimum of 4 years military, similar police, or local guard force experience of which, 1 year must be in a tactical unit consisting of CQB type training and employment
Advanced proficiency in military type weapons and close quarters battle tactics
Certified expert with a designated military type sniper rifle

Additional Requirements:
Background investigation, pre-employment drug screening, and physical agility tests are conducted
Secret clearance required
Will be subject to medical physicals
Valid passport and Driver’s License

Bonus:
Application packet complete for upcoming class $1,000.00
$91.00 a day for training and an additional $1,000.00 for the successful completion of training
10% bonus on August 31, 2011 and December 31, 2011 upon completion of each bridge contract
Position bonus for all WPPS certified and Dept. of State certified Designated Defensive Marksman
