CHSi is seeking a Western Trained Medical Doctor for Al-Bakr Air Base, Iraq

Joint Base Balad Medical Support establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year as part of the Base Life Support services.
SCOPE:

This position description is applicable to all Western Trained Medical Doctors (WTMD) who may be selected. The Western Trained Medical Doctor reports to the Joint Base Balad Medical Support Program Manager and is supervised by the designated site medical director and may be a:
*Emergency Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certification) with a broad interest and experience in providing primary care across the range of office-based specialties including, but not limited to, GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology and gastroenterology.
*Family Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certified or equivalent board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergency.
*Internal Medicine Specialist with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergencies.
The WTMD will treat patients in these settings to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. Some settings will require the WTMD to coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition. In addition, some settings will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS. In some locations, the WTMD will have a leadership role and serve as both a Physician and Site Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in support of a Program Manager.
The WTMD provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate of accredited US Medical School or equivalent international school.
Experience
Have a minimum of 5 years post residency medical practice experience in US.
Job Specific Qualifications and Requirements
Hold and maintain a current MD or DO unrestricted U.S. (State) license
Must be AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) certified.
Residency, or similar training, successfully completed in a US Hospital or equivalent international hospital in any one of three specialties: Family Practice, General Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine dependent on primary employment purpose
Have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
All medical personnel must have worked 6 of the last 12 months performing direct patient care in their career field to be considered.
Additional duties:
All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
Maintain HIPPA certification.
Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid, current Driver’s License from country of origin.
Must have a current Passport from your country of origin.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit”
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel in Iraq is required by surface or air;
The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms.

Functions and Job Responsibilities: 
Successful candidate will provide on-site website design, development, testing, management and support of the hardware/software infrastructure for a web-based portal for our Government client.  This includes:
•Performing all aspects of the development tasks, including front-end, back-end, and database development.
•Managing resources to ensure timely and successful deliveries
• Work with clients and review panels to identify recommendations for the appropriate technical, business and human factors solutions.
•Promote a collaborative work environment with team members and customers. Provide task analysis and technical insight to help develop and deliver the needed capabilities via a mobile web-based environment.
•Develop and maintain web-enabled capabilities and custom applications.
•Lead staff in defining and tracking project requirements, plans, and schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 8 years of general experience or  a Master's Degree with 6 years of general experience.
•Must have deep expertise in various web and mobile web applications development using several of the following:  Sharepoint Designer, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL, PHP, Java, JSP, MySQL, CGI, PERL, UML, Python, Ruby on Rails, .NET, LAMP and SSJS.
•Strong problem solving and analytical abilities are required.
•Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
•Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting.
•Excellent understanding of database modeling, software development lifecycle, and analytical skills.
•Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements.
•Strong knowledge of database and information architecture, with web application integration.
•Cross-browser/platform experience.
•Experience working with, designing and developing Content Management Systems.
•Knowledge of internet advertising, e-mail marketing, traffic metrics, or affiliate advertising is a definite plus.
•Needs to be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
•Must be a U.S. Citizenship with current and active final favorable NACI OR a final security clearance (Secret or higher), and the ability to maintain a security clearance as a condition of employment.

Important information for participating in Wreaths Across America at Arlington

The annual Wreaths Across America event will be held at Arlington National Cemetery Saturday, December 14, 2013. This year the Opening Ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. at McClellan Gate, which is at the intersection of McClellan and Eisenhower Drives – near the main entrance of Arlington National Cemetery. At the ceremony, volunteers will receive a short briefing then move to the designated areas of the cemetery to participate in the laying of wreaths at headstones.

Participants are encouraged to use the Metro. No vehicle access will be allowed in the cemetery until 1 p.m. Families with permanent parking passes can park in the Visitor Garage free-of-charge until 1 p.m. Limited parking for buses is also available in the Visitor Garage. The Administration Parking Lot is designated parking for those with disabilities. No general parking is permitted in the Visitor Garage.

General parking is available at the Hayes, Fern, and Eads Streets lots in Pentagon City. We are anticipating general parking at the Pentagon’s North Parking Lot. Pedestrian access to Arlington National Cemetery is available from Memorial Ave and the Service Complex entrance off of Southgate Road.

Job summary:
Individuals in this position are part of a team that is responsible for work station set-up, loading, unloading, cutting, assembling, inspecting, and packaging various sizes of metal industrial containers.

Responsibilities:
1.            Maintain a safe work environment
2.            Follow all quality procedures and help foster strong  focus on quality
3.            Learn, understand, and follow documented work procedures.
4.            Detect defects through visual inspections
5.            Cross train in related functions (Stacker/Nester/Label &Tray Maker) and assist others in obtaining cross-functional capabilities.
6.            Interact and function effectively in a team environment.
7.            Maintain stock of supplies and practice good housekeeping in work area.

Minimum requirements:
•             Three to Five years of experience in production
•             High School Degree or GED program completion
•             Ability to work multiple shifts
•             Ability to lift over 25lbs repeatedly in a 8 hour shift
•             Ability to bend and  stand for extended periods of time
