Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities For Sr Functional Analyst Falls Church VA:The successful candidate’s core responsibilities will include but to be limited to:Serving as the primary on-site interface and point of contact with Government on-site authorities and representatives on project and contract administrative issues.Assisting with project operation:    *planning for project initiation

*monitoring and reporting processes

*managing project resources

*monitoring financial aspects with respect to requirementsProviding timely cost, schedule, and performance data for an objective analysis of tasks status against baseline, along with identifying and tracking the status of issues and risks.Monitoring the variances, assisting with identifying the source of any problems and developing and execute a solution that shall be communicated to those affected, the Division Chief and Chief Information Officer (CIO).Assisting in briefing the MTF CIOs at quarterly meetings of functional and technical issues and the status of clinical applications.Assisting in researching, developing, aligning strategic, business and execution plans to achieve expected results based on assessment needs of field sites. Ensuring existing policies, plans, guidance and processes are updated accordingly.Conducting site visits assessing the clinical workflow, business practices, in addition to the facility and network requirements for imaging systems. Collecting and compiling workload data. Collecting acceptance testing to confirm systems’ clinical efficiency and compliance to defined requirements.Assisting with applying knowledge and expertise to various project and program initiatives.Assisting with investigating, analyzing, planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating solutions for project efforts.Providing expert-level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes.Providing technical expertise in the following functional areas;    *logistics    *maintenance supply    *financial management    *security management    *information managementAttending teleconferences and/or meetings as required by the Government. Providing AF MTF status updates to projects in weekly meetings. The contractor shall not chair or vote in meetings or conferences.

Minimum Requirements For Sr Functional Analyst Falls Church VA:Master’s degree in IT, IS or related field with 10 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.2+ years of experience in military medicine, battlefield, and clinical environment.3+ years of experience in life cycle development of military e-Health projects.Must have an understanding of the MHS electronic health record systems, including expertise in project management for MHS and AF clinical systems.Must have the ability to explain software features, benefits and intricacies to variety of health care staff from technicians and assistants to nurses, specialist, and physicians.Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications and clinical informatics certifications are required.Shall have Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILV3) certification is required.U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates selected must be able to successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
