Ineligible Veterans Now Eligible
A new federal policy could help veterans
with Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD), and who are presently ineligible for benefits,
get the medical care and benefits they
need. The Department of Defense set down new guidelines to work with veterans
who are trying to upgrade discharges to get medical help. This new set of
guidelines is for veterans who have been diagnosed with PTSD or
who do not realize they have PTSD.

OneJustice: Two FREE legal clinics in the Inland Empire
I
wanted to let you know that the Justice Bus is coming to the Inland
Empire this fall for TWO FREE clean slate clinics and a VA benefits
clinic.
During
the clinic, clients will meet one-on-one with pro bono attorneys and
expert attorneys to complete their paperwork one-hundred percent free of
charge. We will also be able to help clients with expungement intakes,
applications, and adjust Prop. 47-eligible felonies to misdemeanors
where possible. Clients will need to get a copy of their criminal
records prior to the clinic which can take several days, so we want to
get the word out ASAP.
