Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities for Web Application Developer:
The successful candidate’s core responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to:
Participating in the full agile application development life cycle for new development design, construction and testing of Java/J2EE web applications, Web Services (SOAP), and reusable components to support overall project objectives.
Participating in peer reviews and unit testing, and must be adaptable to different responsibilities, possess strong communications skills, and have a passion for constantly improving the individual and team effectiveness.
Contributing to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization; contributes to acceptance/functional testing duties and part of incremental feature development.
Adhering to, promoting, and helping maintain development standards and best practices; participates in regular code reviews.
Assisting development/test teams in activities with acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required.
Communicating committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements for Web Application Developer:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of hands on development experience with open source Java stack. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.
Deep understanding and experience with designing and implementing highly scalable web applications.
Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery.
Familiarity with agile incremental delivery approach which supports incremental development of high-quality, fully tested J2EE application component delivery every 2 weeks.
Familiarity with J2EE/Java Frameworks, programming experience and overall Java development techniques to perform daily Java development, automated unit testing, and troubleshooting responsibilities.
Experience with object-oriented programming or an entire software development life cycle in an academic or professional environment.
Experience in a rapid prototyping environment.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates selected must be able to successfully pass a thorough Government background investigation.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
• Develop new applications utilizing Java EE, Java SE8 for SOAP/WSDL-based Java web services (WS*-) and/or Java RESTful web services using Oracle 12 database using Spring Framework(Spring Rest, JPA, Security), Hibernate (or other ORM likes iBatis), Angular JS, Bootstrap or any responsive web framework environment uses an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Development environment is Service Oriented Architecture with a focus on hands on development.  Developer will be required to assist with database analysis and design.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum based Sprints
• Review, analyze, and modify existing software programs.  The developer will work under some supervision, but will be expected to work independently on complex, non-routine tasks and projects – many unique to the organization. May interact with end-users and other technical personnel to identify and correct software problems. Primary support includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Code, test, debug and install software applications.
• Develop applications from a detailed design specification and unit test plan.

Planned Systems International is seeking candidates to provide help desk II support.  This is a critical and large environment requiring top-notch skills and customer support.  Members of this team support U.S. Military personnel in locations in the United States and abroad.

Essential Functions and job Responsibilities for Help Desk Tech II Level Remote Work: 
In this role, he/she will assist Tier I personnel in solving technical problems and resolving elevated issues by confirming the problem and using/finding solutions to complex issues.  The ideal candidate will also be able to handle tier 1 help desk items when necessary.  He/she will communicate with other team members to report critical issues and will help work on these issues through closure.

Minimum Requirements for Help Desk Tech II Level Remote Work:
3+ years of progressively more responsible experience in a Microsoft customer service computer support environment supporting a large critical environment and including supporting all facets of workstation maintenance and support to include PC’s, laptops, and peripherals and experience successfully handling the escalated issues in an enterprise environment.
Must hold a current Security + certification as well as one or more of the following:  A+ or Network+.
Working knowledge of Microsoft OS and help desk tracking system(s), as evidenced by experience or prior training and, working with customer service (i.e. via phone, live chat, email, fax, and/or remote assistance).
Must have proven customer service skills with customer service being their driving force.
Must be willing and able to work 8 hour evening shifts between 9pm-5am, Monday through Friday.

DESCRIPTION For Linux Information Systems Security Officer:
Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) is seeking a certified Network/Security Administrator to support our current project at the Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.  The ACC provides dominant combat airpower for the Joint Force for the Weapons System Management divisions and the Core Function Enterprise.  We provide Advisory and Assistance Services in a number of areas, however this position supports networking security specifically.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities For Linux Information Systems Security Officer:
Specifically, this Network/Security Administrator, or Linux Information Systems Security Officer will:
*   Support program information security on classified networks up to and including Top Secret level for the specified program offices ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of program data
*   Interpret information systems security principles, information systems security guides, concepts, regulations and standards and provide information systems security guidance to managers, supervisors, and other staff agencies.
*   Provide overall knowledge management and Automated Data Processing operations support.
*   Provide technical and analytical assistance to implement solutions to sustain, maintain, and manage all aspects of information systems to include WAN/LAN and Personal Computer (PC) support services.
*   Ensure compliance with DoD policies & ACC standards.
*   Working in a in SuSE or Red Hat Linux environment, successful candidate will provide hands-on support, functional management, development, or maintenance for long-term ongoing projects as well as critical, time-sensitive issues.  This includes, but Is not limited to, the following:

*   LAN task management (prioritizing requirements, minimizing downtime, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all security and licensing requirements are met).
*   Service level agreements between the primary Joint Base Langley Communications Office and assigned Divisions.
*   Operating Instructions for continuity purposes.
*   Identifying originators and users of shared program and requirement information.
*   Timely/accurate flow of information between users using current or new capabilities.
*   Relocation of divisions, including configuring network and connectivity issues..
*   Recommend hardware and software configurations to meet mission while minimizing additional future investments.
*   Information dissemination and retrieval systems including web, file, and print services.
*   Working harmoniously with all counterparts–Software License Manager, Information System Security Officer, and Equipment Custodian.  .
*   Purchasing assistance for IT equipment.
*   Coordinate office staff scheduling and participate in shiftwork as needed to provide 24-hour-per-day 7 days-per-week on-call LAN support to the client.  Outside business hours requires minimal support unless full support is dictated by overall mission requirements.
*   Prioritize client requirements to ensure minimal downtime and ensure suspenses are met.


Minimum Requirements For Linux Information Systems Security Officer:
*   Possess one year’s network administration experience on systems using SuSE or Red Hat Linux operating system and a Linux certification from a nationally recognized provider.  If you have the experience and can obtain the cert within a week, let us know.
*   IAT Level 1 certification requirements IAW DoD 8570 , which requires one of the following:  A+, Net+, OR Security +.  If you do not have this cert but can obtain it within a week, please contact us.

DESCRIPTION For Subject Matter Expert Static Code Reviewer DC:

Planned Systems International (PSI) is recruiting PSI and/or our Partners for DHS and other projects wherein we provide IT Security Support Services and Compliance for all aspects of IT services including: desktops/laptops; LAN connectivity; audio-visual/video-teleconferencing; telecommunications; applications; and software and hardware acquisition/installation.  These are large environments with hundreds to 1000’s of seats; multiple LAN’s; and multiple applications. All are required to be in compliance with full security assessment and authority to operate.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities For Subject Matter Expert Static Code Reviewer DC:
The DHS Science & Technology Division requires recurring SME /Static Code Reviewer services for a number of its systems based on each system’s status within the security assessment and authorization cycle, authority to operate status, and estimated risk profile.  In general terms, all systems are subject to security assessment and authorization activities, and as a result of those activities risk are uncovered, but the exploitability of those risks must be evaluated and understood. The SME/Static Code Reviewer will analyze systems for potential vulnerabilities that may result from improper system configuration, hardware or software flaws, or operational weaknesses. Any security issues that are found will be presented to the system owner with an assessment of their impact and a recommendation for mitigation or technical solution. S&T requires static code analysis of applications and systems that are deployed and in development.  In general, S&T performs automated and manual source code review of applications and tools before they are operationally deployed; review looks for weaknesses in poor development practices and weak application configuration settings. The selected individual shall perform static code analysis on software developed in-house and by contracted developers and work with the developers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure compliance with secure software development best practices and DHS standards. He or she will present any issues that are found to the ISSO, Compliance Officer, system owner, authorizing official, and the CISO along with an impact assessment and a recommendation for mitigation and technical solution. More specific expectations also include:

*   Assessing system information security policies against DHS policies.

*   Ensuring policies are comprehensive to system.

*   Evaluating security components against their ability to resist threats in the deployed environment.

*   Evaluating configurations and implementation of firewalls, proxy servers, routers, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), IDS, wireless networks, etc. against legal requirements, departmental/local policy, industry best practices and vendor recommendations.

*   Evaluating process and procedures associated with operations.

*   Conducting vulnerability assessment and penetration testing customized to the system function and technical requirements.

*   Executing standardized IV&V practices to evaluate comprehensive state of the security posture.

*   Performing manual and automated assessments on code delivered during development and as patches during operations against DHS S&T secure code policies and industry best practices.

*   Providing formal reports utilizing S&T pre-established reporting templates, as required, on vulnerabilities uncovered during code reviews and recommendations on how developers can remediate the uncovered issues.

*   Working with development staff to remediate security vulnerabilities as they are identified and provide recommendations on how software development lifecycles need to be modified to address vulnerabilities and concerns.

Minimum Requirements For Subject Matter Expert Static Code Reviewer DC:

*   BS Degree in a technical field.  An  equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*   Must possess any one of the following:  CSSLP (Preferred), CASP, or CISSP.

*   5 + years performing in IA Security as a Static Code Reviewer.or Penetration Tester.

*   Experience must include:

*   Proven experience with various Security Testing Frameworks (such as OWASP)

*   Expert knowledge of information security principles, web applications and a level of familiarity with malicious code and common techniques used to exploit software vulnerabilities

*   Utilizes automated code reviews (using tools like HP Fortify) as well as manual code review techniques to identify application security vulnerabilities.

*   Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks (C, C++, PHP, .NET, ASP, JAVA, Struts)

*   Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.

*   Exceptionally good written and oral communication skills.

*   Good interpersonal and consulting-type skills.

*   US Citizenship and Secret Clearance required as well as ability to successfully pass Corporate and DHS client suitability background checks.

Minimum Requirements For Screener Kuwait:

*   Be DoD civilian equivalent of AFOSI (AFSC 7S071), Naval Criminal investigative Service, Army CID, USAF AFSC 3P0X1 (security forces) with 4 years law enforcement or investigations experience, or USA MOS 35L/M, 180 A, 18F, 35E (Strategic Debriefer or individual with similar skill set) with a minimum of 4 years field experience (not including training time). Must have experience with screening, screening tasks, and/or investigative questioning techniques and knowledge of SIPRNet search engines and database retrieval tools such as QueryTree and M3.
*   Have no Criminal Record.
*   Must be at least 22 years of age.
*   Hold US Citizenship.
*   Possess a current passport.
*   Hold a current Secret clearance.
*   Be able to pass a standard physical examination that includes, at a minimum, medical history, height, weight, blood pressure, HIV antibody, and chest x-ray.
*   Be physically capable of performing duties, functions, and activities required by the job.
*   Comply with all security requirements.
*   Comply with all minimum immunizations prior to deployment overseas.
*   Be free of any communicable diseases, and in general good health.
