TeamRWB Chapter of Queens and Brooklyn

My name is Patricia Alzate, Social Coordinator for the TeamRWB Chapter of Queens and Brooklyn and we are trying to hold a holiday party for our veterans (family oriented) for Saturday, December 14, 2019 let's say starting around 3:30pm till 7:00pm. Wondering if you know of a place that they can donate their space within the Queens or Brooklyn so we can hold this holiday event to hand out toys for the children, make smiles for the families and play board games, there will be food, etc. and at the same time we do not have grandious funds to pay for a venue now.

Our website is: Home - Team RWB

You can contact me through here via e-mail sunshine1787@yahoo.com and/or my # is: 1347-706-9704.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Ranger Road

Please share, and have those interested contact Ranger Road/Mikhail Venikov directly at:

Ranger Road is a nonprofit charity providing veterans the necessary tools to be successful during the crucial transition from military to civilian life. It was founded by Army Ranger, MMA fighter and Police Officer, Mikhail Venikov. Ranger Road believes the bond and camaraderie created in the military is truly special and an experience only those who have served are able to grasp an understanding of.
By pushing towards lasting solutions that bring veterans with and without disabilities together with civilians, we can be part of a community and support system that thrives on community involvement, physical and emotional wellness. The activities and programs developed have been proven to help veterans handle stress, lower rates of anxiety and depression, and improve the overall wellness of the veterans.
In order to assist our veterans we need your help! By supporting Ranger Road you are supporting innovative, result-oriented programs, and increasing public education and participation.

Topanga Women’s Circle, CA 90290 Helping Homeless Veterans and Their Families into Transitional Housing

Topanga Women’s Circle Helping Homeless Veterans and Their Families into Transitional Housing

We work in Los Angeles to set up apartments for Veterans and families moving from homelessness into Transitional Housing.
When a family moves into these institutionally furnished apartments they generally have all their belonging in a garbage bag. But just before they move in TWC springs into action, transforming a bare-bones space into a home.

Please click on the donation link below and give whatever you can. Your donation will be doubled until we reach our goal.

If you would like to donate by mail:
Please mark TWC 2017 Challenge Grant in the memo line.
Donations made by check should be made out to:

Thank you so much for helping to support homeless Veterans and Families.

"Donate $22 Today Campaign": Give Veterans the gift of their own Production/Broadcast Studios in 2017, Donate $22

ALL VETERANS, FAMILY OF VETERANS, AND ALL EVERYONE ELSE…. I believe the veteran population is .05% of the population (US). The veterans you can help are those that will carry scars for life. A one time contribution of $22 in comparison, which can save a life, is not effort by the VA. This is an attempt to assist where the VA fails. One a day is failure! Don't you agree?  Will you also please forward to others you know? Please help and thanks!!  RW

(A Nonprofit organization with a 501 c 3. All Donations Are Tax Deductible.)
The Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel has initiated a new campaign to raise funds to build
a production/Broadcast studio that will benefit America's veterans  and their family members.
THE DONATE $22 TODAY CAMPAIGN
Funds raised will go towards the creation of a state of the Art film and Television Studio
capable of producing 10 to 15 shows and programs a week.
The shows and programs produced will be created with the intention to promote good mental, emotional and physical health to veterans and their family members. These shows  will be able to be accessed online in the privacy of their own homes.

Imagine being able to do Yoga, Tai Chi and practice Mindfulness every day from home.
We will also create entertainment shows for our viewers.

Our plan is to recieve $22 from 1 million people. This would generate enough in funding to make this plan a reality. We ask the you make a donation. Make a creative video about why you are doing it and challenge your friends from the same family, group, company or organization to do the same. We will post your video Facebook and on our website at: www.vspchannel.com.
Veterans Day is November 11, 2016.
Give veterans a gift that will last a lifetime and work towards improving their lives continually.

Subject: FOODS That Promote Healing From the Symptoms of PTSD? A New Concept Cooking Show is coming soon. This Veterans Suicide Prevention Month, the VSPChannel is working to create one of the most important shows we have ever attempted to create, to date. We have stumbled across an innovative way to treat PTSD, anxiety, depression, and many other ailments in veterans and it was right in our faces all along. FOOD.
This discovery became clear to me about a year ago when a Veterans Peer Specialist from the VA and I were on the phone with a Veteran who we had been trying to talk him out of putting a pistol to his head and ending his life. While talking with this Veteran for nearly 3 hours, I noticed he indicated several times, that he was so distraught that he had not eaten anything all day long. After a while, I was able to talk him into fixing himself something to eat and noticed that after he ate, his attitude and mood began to improve significantly. This got me to thinking, could it be possible that the food had been a catalyst in helping him to stabilize emotionally and so dramatically after eating? So, I went online and did a search to find out if food could help with treating mental illness and the most common symptoms associated with PTSD, anxiety and depression. To my astonishment, there was a wealth of information and research by respected organizations and doctors regarding the amazing curative powers that can be found in food to fight mental illnesses such as PTSD. My mind was on fire at this discovery.
Although we had just completed a pilot for a new cooking show, "The Cooking With Chef Dad Show",
I decided that our next cooking show would be one that would create recipes intended to promote healing in Veterans and their family members that suffer with depression, anxiety and symptoms associated with PTSD. The VSPChannel is currently initiating a campaign to raise funds to produce the first 5 episodes of this show, which has been named the "COOKING FOR VETERANS MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH Show". We need your support in the coming weeks to spread the word about this amazing show and to support our crowdfunding campaign for funds to help this show to become a broadcast reality.
The response for this show, thus far, has been amazing. We have cast two Veteran Army Chef's, who are both Master of their craft, to become the on-camera personalities for this show. "Chef Andre Rush", was the top Enlisted Chef for the Superintendent of the West Point Military Academy, and now works at the White House and prepares nutritionally balanced meals for the President of the United States, the first family, their guest, and staff. ( Andre can dead lift 700 pounds and is built like a brick house). Chef Charles Johnson worked alongside Chef Andre Rush while at West Point and went on to become an Instructor for the Fort Bliss Culinary Arts Program. (Charles can dead lift any recipe book designed to promote good health, and Andre if need be). These two outstanding chefs will be preparing recipes with only the best ingredients to show Veterans and their family members how to prepare easy meals with selected ingredients designed to promote mental and physical wellness, and family oneness.
So, please, spread the word about the power of Food in fighting major symptoms associated with PTSD and support our Indiegogo.com crowdfunding campaign to raise money to produce this innovative, life saving show that will start on or about September 25, 2016.
See the attachment to this email and share as needed, there are links to potentially life saving information for all Veterans during this Veterans Suicide Prevention Month on how food can begin to assist in healing their PTSD.
Lets help save Veterans from the debilitating causes of suicide that can be helped with proper nutrition.
