RESPONSIBILITIES for Medical Operations Manager
Perform all necessary functions to effectively manage operations throughout the employee life cycle – hiring, mentoring, providing guidance, performance management, motivating.
Build and implement budgets, expense reports and department financial management
Provide vertical and horizontal liaison functions within the organization
Direct, manage and coordinate global operations supporting crisis response, evacuations, telemedicine
Follow, build, and improve protocols and quality standards for business operations
Develop, implement, and manage training programs to maintain operational readiness
Manage the research and maintenance of operations and client databases
Evaluate and manage strategic partners
Travel domestically and internationally supporting current operations

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS for Medical Operations Manager
Private sector management and leadership experience
BA/BS Required; MBA desired
Military experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

•Manage all aspects of operations center, contact center, telemedicine and work process flow activities

•Take ownership of, develop strategy for and implement policy surrounding advisory, evacuation, repatriation, telemedicine and consulting services
•Coordinate analytic, strategic and technical resources to meet and exceed customer expectations
•Evaluate and manage strategic partners

RESPONSIBILITIES For Remote Paramedic Manager Ex Military Jobs
Day-to-day management of medical personnel & paramedic teams in Eastern Europe, including tasking and performance management
Responsibility for management of logistics for multiple sites and medics in the field including: scheduling, usage and ordering of medicines, equipment and basic necessities; all operational over-site of services delivery, including fixed and rotary wing medevac missions
Daily mission, case and operations tasking, including review and error checking of missions and after action reports
Generating all necessary reports and updates for client and Global Rescue home office
Financial responsibility (budgeting, tracking and reporting) for team and project expenses
Interfacing with client contacts to ensure timely reporting to client and satisfaction with services delivered

5+ years of experience managing medics, ideally with experience managing in austere environments
5+ years of experience as a paramedic

RESPONSIBILITIES For Remote Paramedic Ex Military Jobs


Administer first aid and prehospital medical care, including primary care and emergency care within the limits of licensure or certification and in accordance with approved protocols in the field and small clinic environments
  *Assess the safety and hazards at the scene of emergencies. Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury present and establishes the priorities for emergency care. Treat injuries and/or illnesses using advanced life support techniques and medications
Follow all legal and company medical regulations and guidelines
Provide safe and efficient transport of patient to medical facilities by ambulance on and off site as required
Maintain and order inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Conduct regular inventory and equipment testing to ensure all supplies and equipment are present, clean, and in proper working order
Document and record all patient interactions and care provided
Communicate clearly and regularly with GR Corporate Office and client contacts
Complete all required company and regulatory reports and logs
Work in rural locations impacted by political/social unrest and/or hostile environments
Have the ability to think and react quickly and appropriately in stressful situations
Manage and lead ground, fixed and rotary wing air medical evacuation missions
3 month on / 1 month off rotations

Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic or Nurse Certification in good standing
ACLS/PALS/NRP/PHTLS or BTLS
Previous experience working in remote locations
Strong communication and writing skills
College degree preferred but not required
Military experience a plus
