Ranger Road 2018 Skydiving Event

Through Ranger Road's PROJECT I COULD - RR was able to provide Alejandro Jauregui (Double amputee army veteran) the opportunity to go through Skydiving courses in order to allow him to skydive on his own! Alejandro will be skydiving solo at our annual Freedom Jump This was made possible by tax deductible donations made by you and other veteran supporters Help Ranger Road provide further assistance to these veterans and other veterans who wish to participate in similar Ranger Road programs. Ranger Road was able to provide 50 veterans with FREE tickets to the River Cats game.  This was made possible by Guild Mortgage who donated the tickets to Ranger Road.

Our annual skydiving event is in the works and we want to invite EVERYBODY!! Mark the date: 09/08/18

Admission is free for everybody! If you are a disabled veteran, visit our website and sign up to be considered as one of our 50 Free skydivers!!!

If you are not a veteran you can pay for your own skydiving slot, please call Skydance Skydiving directly at 530-753-2651.  Mention that you are jumping with Team Ranger Road and you will receive a discounted rate.

We will have Tanks, helicopters, food, music, raffles, a jump house for kids, rock climbing wall and much more.  This is a family friendly event and admission is free for everybody!! Please spread the word and come out with the entire family and support our American Heroes!!

Through RR's PROJECT I COULD, RR was able to provide Joshua Hotaling (Double amputee marine veteran) the opportunity to go through an instructor scuba certification course  which now allows Joshua to teach and instruct others how to scuba dive. Joshua will now be running Ranger Road's Scuba program.

Ranger Road is a nonprofit charity providing veterans the necessary tools to be successful during the crucial transition from military to civilian life. It was founded by Army Ranger, MMA fighter and Police Officer, Mikhail Venikov. Ranger Road believes the bond and camaraderie created in the military is truly special and an experience only those who have served are able to grasp an understanding of.

By pushing towards lasting solutions that bring veterans with and without disabilities together with civilians, we can be part of a community and support system that thrives on community involvement, physical and emotional wellness. The activities and programs developed have been proven to help veterans handle stress, lower rates of anxiety and depression, and improve the overall wellness of the veterans.

ABOUT RANGER ROAD

Mikhail is the founder of Ranger Road which was established in 2015. After graduating high school he joined the 2nd Ranger Battalion and was deployed 3 times with the Rangers. He competed and won the 2006 Best Ranger competition which was shown on the Discovery Channel.

After finishing his military service, he began training for MMA. He has 6 professional MMA fights under Team Alpha Male with Urijah Faber. In conjunction with fighting, he had been accepted into the Sacramento Sheriff’s Academy and after completion, he began his law enforcement career. He is happily married and loves nothing better than working with our American Heroes.
