Scope:
***Position is located in Pristina, Kosovo***
Under direction of a Physician, performs physical examinations and health screening and provides routine medical care to NATO/KFOR military personnel at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo.
 
This includes vaccinations, pharmaceuticals, first aid, immediate lifesaving measures, and triage. Performs as ambulance attendant as needed.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

Required Skills
Required Certification, Qualifications and Experience:
Accredited to a recognized EU/North American standard or proven equivalent national qualification.
Registered Professional Nurse or Paramedic with first level degree from an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing/Paramedic Program or equivalent acceptable within the NATO Nations, such as an accredited Diploma Program
Certificates in ECG, CPR or Basic Life Support and ACLS or equivalent emergency medical care
Minimum three (3) years of experience in continuous primary care practice
Experienced in Trauma and Emergency care
Experienced in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc)

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Contractor shall utilize additional care providers in all medical facilities to assist with patient administration; vital signs; post-operative, intravenous, and intramuscular medications; cardiopulmonary resuscitation and resuscitative trauma care; along with other duties as determined by the primary medical providers (physicians, nurse practitioners and Physician Assistants) that do not exceed the scope of practice.
Assists with the managing of day to day activities and prioritizing tasks.
Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
Complies with all applicable CHS standards and guidelines.
All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
EMT will use and maintain common emergency equipment, such as backboards, suction devices, splints, oxygen delivery systems, and stretchers.
Maintains the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
Fluent in English - reading, writing and speaking
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client.
