Tour de Forces: UK & US Vets to cycle/run the British Coastline to raise funds for Wounded Warriors

Thanks to Twitter, we just learned about an awesome group of veterans from the US and UK who will be undertaking an impressive challenge to raise money for organizations that support injured servicemen and women.

On September 1, 2012, Tour de Forces (@tourdeforces on Twitter) will be biking and running an epic 2,945 miles along the coast of England to raise awareness and funds for the brave wounded warriors who have served our countries faithfully. The team consists of:

  • Paul Shearsby - Team Leader
  • Mark "Rammers" Ormrod - Former British Royal Marine
  • Marc Roberts - Former British Army
  • Dodge Holls - Former British Forces
  • Charles "Chunks" Padilla Former United States Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant
with the help of the "Support Crew," Sean Aiken and Stevie Budge. Learn more about the team here.

Tour de Forces will be raising money for the following charities:
  •  The Royal Marines Association
  • The Royal British Legion
  • British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (BLESMA)
  • Semper Fi Fund
You can help support the team with financial contributions to either the support fund or the charitable beneficiaries at http://tourdeforces.com/support-us/
