Job Skills/Requirements
•Patrols assigned areas on foot, checking for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
•Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to client for correction or actions; maintains contact with client.
•Checks doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in written log any unlocked doors/windows; submits information to supervisor.
•Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce university rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions.
•Assists any person on grounds needing information.
•Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
•Decides when incident requires written report; decides which report form to use and submits to supervisor
•Unlocks buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with site policies.
•May assist law enforcement officers with crowd control and surveillance at large public events.
Candidates must have excellent customer service, writing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.  Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays.

Marinette Marine Corporation, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive Shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Coast Guard and United States Navy, as well as commercial vessels. We currently have an opportunity for a Pipe General Supervisor at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.

The Pipe General Supervisor will lead a crew of skilled trade personnel in an area of the manufacturing organization with responsibility for fabrication and/or assembly of product for the constructions of ships, erection of modules and alignment to ship specifications. The Pipe General Supervisor will manage the assigned crew to attain quality, schedule and cost objectives, and will review and understands department, organization and company goals and objectives along with supporting and execution of plans that ensure positive predictable results.

The Pipe General Supervisor will oversee safety and security procedures, implements organizational policies and goals, measures performance to budget and supports the superintendent in budget analysis and adherence, assists in production control projects, manages work pack in accordance with production control plan, plans overtime and schedules resources as required, interfaces with general supervisor to revise project and facility objectives, understands and works within the union contract requirements.

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of trade experience and two (2) years of management experience. Preference is given to those with experience in a manufacturing or shipbuilding environment. An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus. Essential to this position is the ability to lead, direct, coach, and discipline employees in alignment with Company processes, policies, and procedures. Candidates should provide evidence of leadership examples that align with the Company’s core values of Ownership and Accountability; Teamwork and Collaboration; Business Discipline; Sense of Urgency; Hiring, Leading, and Developing the Best Employees; and Embrace Continuous and Culture Improvement. The successful candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook. Candidates should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Experience with computer systems such as EVMS, Baan, or a Time and Attendance systems is a plus.

Candidates need marine pipe fitting experience with knowledge of pipe blue prints and ship construction understanding.

Responsibilities
• This individual will work closely with administrative and other medical professionals to provide first class patient care, respond to all emergency situations, and maintain patient safety, care, and confidentiality

• On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area
• Serves as a resource in a team environment
• Work efficiently with EMR system
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Current paramedic license required
• Paramedic registration required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ITLS, PHTLS, ATLS, or similar required
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a paramedic
• Knowledge of professional standards of care
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with others
• Ability to effectively communicate in English orally and in writing
• Basic computer skills
• Should have experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience
