NY Mets Honor Veterans/Reserve Units/Active Duty/National Guard/USCG at Home Games














Dear Veteran:

Combat Wounded Veterans of America is fortunate to once again be working with the New York Mets and “Welcome Back Veterans” (http://www.welcomebackveterans.org/) on the Mets’ Veteran of the Game program.

The Mets would like to honor you and/or a family member that served (or is currently serving) in the United States Military.  As part of this opportunity, the honoree will receive a total of four complimentary Delta Sky360 Club first row seats.  During the 3rd inning, the honoree will be introduced over the public address system and shown on the video board in center field.

In addition, photos that you provide of your military service, and highlights of your military bio will be announced over the P.A. system and on the video scoreboard.  Your picture will be displayed on the video scoreboard in center field and the announcer will read your military biography. Honorees will be asked to attend in military uniform if possible or CWVA attire (hat or polo) or even a military ballcap (eg noting veteran’s military era).  
The pictures should be good quality images of at least 800x800 resolution (or higher) taken during your time in the military.  Images of you in uniform during a deployment are preferred.

PLEASE NOTE:  
1) Any active duty member or veteran of any age or era who served in the military and was discharged honorably is eligible to be invited as the Mets Veteran of the Game.  
2) You are not eligible for this honor if you previously have been recognized as the Mets Veteran of the game.  However, you may attend as a guest as another honoree if you have previously been honored.

Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) – Mechanical/Electrical
Location: Sterling/Manassas, VA

The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) Mechanical/Electrical is responsible for operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. The EOT serves as a technical resource to support its owned and operated data centers. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. EOT’s are also tasked with driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.
EOT’s are the front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS’s, PDU’s, AHU’s, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD’s, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities for Data Center Engineering Operations Technician:
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows.

Basic Qualifications for Data Center Engineering Operations Technician:
• Technical (Military/ Trade School) training and/or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid leadership and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications for Data Center Engineering Operations Technician
Education and Experience
• 4+ years of data center operations/facilities experience
• Associates or Bachelors in applicable engineering field or mechanical or electrical trades

Preferred Licensing for Data Center Engineering Operations Technician
• Operating engineering licenses such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
• Stationary Engineering or Building Engineering License
• Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
• CFC license
• NFPA 70E

We will sponsor your clearance if you are just a US citizen, but are also looking for people who have SECRET and TOP SECRET clearances as well.

You will be working in Afghanistan alongside the troops. Your main function will be translation.
That could be in the form of face to face translation, listening to radio intercepts, and reading documents. Most of your time will be on a base there, but there could be some patrols as well.
All with the US military with them at all times
For US citizens without a clearance, we are paying 81k
For US citizens with a secret clearance, we are paying 101k
For US citizens with a top secret clearance, we are paying 130k.
These are federal tax free.
This will be for a one year contract in Afghanistan, where your room and board are paid for.
This is a renewable contract.
We also offer world class benefits, there is an R&R Incentive of up to $2,500 per R&R up to three times in a 12 month period.
Company 401k, where we will match up to 4% of your total compensation and you are vested immediately.
Additionally, you will receive Profit Sharing at the end of every quarter.

Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, a Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting the Human Resources function.
With considerable discretion, judgment, and tact, performs confidential and diverse clerical,

Some of the job duties include:
Prepares, maintains and safeguards confidential employee personnel files, records and information

Requirements for Human Resources Generalist Recruiter CA:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through five or more years of increasingly responsible related experience.
Ability to accurately enter data and maintain records in various Human Resources software, including electronic time keeping, human resource information system (HRIS), employee performance management and salary administration
Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations relating to employment, payroll and other related Human Resources functions
Credit Union experience preferred, but not required
Experience with Computer system/software to effectively perform complex record keeping, report writing and calculations in Excel, and Computer system/software to effectively update and upgrade information and software capability in the various Human Resources software, including electronic time keeping, human resource information system (HRIS), employee performance management and salary administration
Ability to organize work to meet deadlines
Ability to promote and maintain a positive image of the Credit Union to employees, vendors and the public
Ability to type 60 words per minute with accuracy
