Construction Project Manager with travel to The Caribbean

JOB TITLE: Construction Project Manager
JOB STATUS: Full Time
SALARY RANGE: $35,000 to $45,000 Annual Salary + Annual Bonus

GENERAL:
This Engineering, Procurement and Construction(EPC) renewable energy company has been awarded commercial and government contracts for the design and construction of solar systems/electrical vehicles charging stations at federal facilities across the US & Puerto Rico.
This rapidly growing company needs to quickly expand capabilities and is looking for innovative and motivated new Construction Project Managers.

WORK DAYS/HOURS:
Typical office work schedule is 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday -Friday.
Typical onsite work schedule is 7:00 AM to 4 PM Monday –Friday.
Occasional work and or travel on weekend.
Position requires extensive travel throughout the US and the Caribbean which is often greater than 75% of the time or more.
Job hours may exceed 40 hours per week when traveling and working on construction sites.

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee, assist, and perform duties that are required for all construction work as assigned and including project estimates, contractor coordination, project management, labor, testing, commissioning, training and close out documentation required to install Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations and emergency backup generators.

JOB DUTIES:
Serves as the construction Project Manager on-site at construction projects.
Ensures that proper permits as required by law to carry out work on construction projects are obtained.
Studies blueprints and schematics and determines methods, materials, and equipment needed to complete the assignment.
Ensures all company equipment on site and at the company warehouse are cleaned and lubricated. Ensures the proper records on equipment status and maintenance are completed.
Inspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely; determines whether equipment and new installations meet local, state and federal standards.
Ensures the materials needed for most frequently occurring repair work, prepares requisitions, and monitors inventory.
May assist in training junior project managers and others.
Performs related work as assigned.
Develops plans and estimates for projects; includes determining time, equipment, and human and material resources needed to complete the work.
Coordinates for the ordering and delivery of construction materials to the job site.
Coordinates for security access badges for military base access to the job site for all subcontractor employees, company employees and temporary labor on the job site.
Coordinates for lodging and transportation for all company employees working at remote job sites.
Conductions all coordination with the General Contractor and/or government/facility owner before, during and after construction.
Represents the company at all on site meetings with the general contractor and/or government/facility owner.
Travels as needed to participate in and represent the company for pre and post construction coordination meetings with the at the General Contractor and/or government/facility owner before and after construction.
Have completed and maintains currency for the OSHA 30 hour safety program.
Coordinate inspections for contractor performed work in new construction projects as part of the Quality Improvement Team.
Solves construction problems and re-design systems as needed on the job site that may require preparing and submitting new AutoCAD drawings to the company, General Contractor and/or Government/Facility owner.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Requires Bachelor’s Degree and extensive management experience. Construction management trade experience is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Requires at least four years of experience in management leading a team of military personnel, or subcontractors or laborers.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EQUIPMENT & OTHER:
Basic ability to understand documents, define problems and draw valid conclusions.
Requires knowledge and skill in the use of forklifts, man lifts, and hand and power tools required in the related trade.
Requires ability to perform math computations needed in trade; ability to read blueprints; basic building code knowledge as it relates to work in the related trade.
Operating knowledge of work order management system and e-mail software.
Required to work overtime on both a scheduled and an emergency basis.
Subject to after-hours recall.
English language skills required.
Experience in construction management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Excellent social skills.
Have completed the OSHA 30 hour safety program

DESIRED SKILLS:
Military experience (Veteran) is highly desirable as most of the company work is conducted on military bases.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:
Driver’s license required at time of hire.
Driver’s license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Have completed and maintain currency in the OSHA 30 hour safety program, American Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification and maintain certifications for all construction vehicles & equipment used on company job sites.

SUPERVISION/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Directly oversees sub-contractors, junior project managers, Electricians, and General Laborers.
May spend over 90% of time conducting supervisory responsibilities.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; training employees; appraising performance; and assisting with hiring and disciplining.

SAFETY TO SELF AND OTHERS:
High exposure to self to heat burns, fractured bones, loss of limb, loss of sight, disfigurement, and fatality due to working with electrical systems.
Low exposure to s elf and others to repetitive motion or stress due to working with computers and electrical tools.
Medium exposure to self and others to bruises and cuts due to working with electrical tools.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) Sales Representative must always be generating and developing sales leads to find potential customers.
When the Sales Representative gauges interest in a potential customer the Sales Representative will schedule site visits, conduct sales meetings, and submit proposals or quotes to make the sale.
When the sale is made, the Sales Representative is responsible for handing over the project to the project team so that they can install the EVCS to the customer’s satisfaction.

JOB DUTIES:
Become an expert in Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Generate sales leads by conducting cold calls and attending tradeshows and other marketing events
Develop sales leads
Conduct site visits and sales meetings
Write proposals and quotes
Maintain a pipeline or list of potential customers
Brief progress at weekly sales meetings
Advise on the improvement of sales and marketing procedures

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Requires a bachelor level degree; no other training or education required.

EXPERIENCE:
No experiences is required, however prior experience in sales will be beneficial. Military experience (Veteran) is also highly desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
This position requires the basic ability to understand documents, define problems and draw valid conclusions. It also requires knowledge and skill in the use Microsoft Office and other computer based programs.
The ability to self-motivate and act autonomously is essential as tasks may often be assigned with little guidance.
As speaking with potential customers will be required, the level of interpersonal skill will directly affect the level of success.

Membership Support Position for Fairfax, VA


Marine Corps League is hiring a Membership Support Position
The person in this role will interact with our members through phone, email and mail communications to answer questions or gather information.  They will enter and maintain membership data in our IMPak membership database.  They will design queries and reports to find and extract relevant data for various uses as required.  They will also be required to print membership cards or renewal notices as well as process incoming paperwork relating to Membership.
This person will also be responsible for other general office tasks as required.  When necessary they will provide coverage (typically for some lunch shifts and occasionally if we are short staffed) for our retail store (located in the same building).
The person in this position will report to our Membership Manager and will be responsible for tasks assigned by the Membership Manager, our National Adjutant/Paymaster and/or Executive Director.  They will be expected to interact with our IT staff and consultants as needed.  Ideally, they will eventually act as a liaison between our Membership department and IT regarding matters such as the Membership database and other technologies used by the Membership department.  They must also comply with the policies set forth in our Employee Handbook which includes appropriate use of office equipment and resources.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- Typing/data entry proficiency
- Computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to operate office equipment such as telephones, printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines
- Experience with customer, membership, helpdesk or contact management databases
- Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Basic experience in a retail environment is helpful
Soft Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Phone skills including customer service experience
- Ability to provide friendly, helpful service to our members and staff
- Professional demeanor
- Attention to detail in order to ensure the accuracy of data
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as flexibility and willingness to ensure the goals of the organization are met
Preferred Skills (in order of importance):
- Experience working in an Association or Membership organization
- Experience working in a non-profit organization
- Experience using ISSI IMPak membership database (Oracle ERP, SAP, Remedy may also be helpful)
- Understanding of relational databases concepts
- Experience with Crystal Reports such as writing or modifying reports
- Understanding of statistics
- Helpdesk experience
- Any experience or interest in software development including HTML, ASP, ASP .NET, MS SQL, etc.
- Software Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, or beta testing
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience creating KPIs and/or dashboards
- Experience preparing email marketing campaigns
- Experience with event registration

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
Provide formal and informal on the job training, classroom training, virtual training, computer based training and over the shoulder training, to support functional users requiring assistance in implementing, using, and integrating the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Composite Health Care System (CHCS), Integrated Clinical Database (ICDB), MiCare, and Essentris programs into the military medical clinical business process.
•Conduct business process reengineering activities within individual clinics, to include initial assessment, to-be recommendations, and training development and delivery of new processes.
•Provide records of training activities including: training needs assessments, training attendance records, OJT records and student critiques.
•Communicate effectively across the training team and with various stakeholders.
•Collect, organize and evaluate clinical, functional and training metrics.
•Perform configuration, implementation and maintenance support for the AHLTA, CHCS, ICDB, MiCare, and Essentris program applications.
•Perform measurement, analysis, research, and monitoring tasks to include ad hoc reporting.
•Manage of user account set up and maintenance, as well as class room instruction and over the shoulder support.
•Provide troubleshooting and analysis support to the clinicians and MTF stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
•Experience in working with the AHLTA, CHCS, ICDB, MiCare or Essentris systems as a trainer.
•U.S. High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) mandatory.
•Minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent job experience (3 years).
•Experience must include 2 years on the job experience in medical and/or computer training.
•Minimum 18 months previous experience training and/or using an electronic medical record (EMR) mandatory; experience using clinical systems (as a healthcare provider or Trainer) strongly desired.
•Personnel must possess demonstrated knowledge of medical business processes and operations through previous job experience.
•Personnel must be capable of providing formal and informal implementation guidance, integration, and change management support tasks (on the job training, formal and informal classroom and over the shoulder training) in a dynamic and interpersonal setting to support functional users (medical and dental providers) requiring assistance in implementing, using, and integrating clinical systems and its increments into the military medical clinical business process.
•Understanding of data communications standard, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Internet WWW, and Internet Working technologies.
•Have a basic understand of Air Force training materials and guidelines.
•Personnel must be fluent (written and verbal) with medical and dental terminology.
•US citizenship mandatory (based upon MHS network access requirements). Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust designation.
Additional Highly Desired Qualifications:
•Professional training and education experience highly desirable.
•Prior U.S. Military Service related to military health and using or training on these systems preferred.

DESCRIPTION:
Planned Systems International has an immediate need for an IT Service Management Analyst to support our client at Fort Gordon, GA by utilizing ITIL concepts to review IT services and related processes.  The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or similar and hold an ITIL Foundations certification (v 3).
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
•Utilize ITIL v3 concepts to review services and related processes.
•Create and manage associated document libraries.
•Develop and manage the client’s service catalog, user manuals and reference materials.
•Analyze processes for internal and external focused service delivery.
•Partner and coordinate with the Customer Service Center (CSC) Manager, Project Managers, and other leadership to develop ITIL-based strategies for service delivery throughout the division.
•Sponsor ITL initiatives to include Continual Service Improvement (CSI), Quality Assurance metrics, and lifecycle planning.
•Introduce and implement improvements to current processes and service delivery strategy by working closely with the Change Advisory Board.
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Business Administration focused on computing & management from University or College accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
•Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification (v3 or later).
•Experience with technical writing, process documentation, and metrics in an IT Help Desk and/or Service Center environment.
•Ability to work with various levels of management and leadership to facilitate the implementation of process improvement initiatives, Quality metrics, and changes in service delivery.
•Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
•Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of utilizing business analytical tools.
•U. S. Citizenship required for this position as the successful candidate will need to obtain and maintain a U. S. Government-sponsored Security clearance.
