I am doing a fundraiser with MilitaryHandbag for Any Soldier, Pets For Patriots, and No Dog Gets Left Behind. MilitaryHandbag takes your or our fatigues or a uniform piece and turns them into custom handbags, accessories, pillows, and other custom items.
To order to go www.militaryhandbag.com?a_aid=83753bcf and use Janet Collins as Rep. If you have any questions, contact her at janet@militaryhandbag.com. To be entered into a drawing for a gift card from Military Handbag, go to my Facebook page, Janet For Military Handbag, "like" my page, tell me your name, and which group you support. When ordering, also put which group you want to support in the comment section of the order form. Thanks very much for your support.
Anyone can send care packages through Any Soldier. Go to www.anysoldier.com . Pets For Patriots pairs a shelter dog with a Veteran or member of the military, and helps them with expenses such as food. No Dog Gets Left Behind raises money to bring dogs home from Afghanistan or Iraq to the soldier who "adopted" them while overseas.
Thanks so much for your support for these military support groups.

Disability Evaluation System Speeds Claims
The Integrated Disability Evaluation System combines the military services' disability evaluation and that of the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits claims processes into a streamlined process to minimize the gap between service separation and VA benefits delivery. The program was introduced in 2007 as a pilot program and steadily expanded to full Defense Department-wide implementation at the end of September. The IDES provides a more seamless transition to veteran disability benefits with more consistent ratings between DOD and VA than the previous system. For more information, visit the (http://www.pdhealth.mil/hss/des.asp) Deployment Health Clinical Center website and the (http://www.army.mil/standto/archive/2011/02/14/) Stand-To! Website.
VA Caregiver Support Program
The Department of Veterans Affairs is implementing a telephone support program to help the spouses of returning Iraq and Afghanistan veterans after a pilot program was successful. The spouse telephone support program is part of VA's Caregiver Support Program. Spouses participate in 12 telephone support groups over six months. Caregivers should contact their nearest VA Medical Center to learn about this and other family caregiver resources in the local area. For more information, visit the VA Caregiver Support webpage at (http://www.caregiver.va.gov/) www.caregiver.va.gov/ or your local VA caregiver support coordinator.
New Videos Feature Military Service Stories of Women Veterans
WASHINGTON – The Department of Veterans Affairs has released a series of videos in which women Veterans describe their experiences serving in the military, ranging from their significant contributions to national safety and security to the challenges they faced during their service and after returning to civilian life. "These videos show the important contributions women have made to this country through their military service," said Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki. "Women Veterans have earned the respect of a grateful Nation for their tremendous service and sacrifice."

Hello ma'am, we've spoken a few times on other jobs I've submitted resumes for but I've run across one I'm particularly interested in because I have the exact qualifications for it. As far as the positions available with Armor Group, I've had consistent elevating security experience for over 8 years(with deployed tactical experience), have been an NCO for over 3 years, posses a secret DOD clearance, and became a certified weapons armorer in 2007. I have attached my updated resume reflecting these changes for review. As part of our previous conversations, I wanted to let you know that I do visit your website frequently for opportunities and have spread the word to my colleagues that are searching as well.
