KEY REQUIREMENTS:
•You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National.
•You must complete a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
•You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
•You must pass Drug and Alcohol Screening, subject to random drug tests.
•You may be required to complete a one year Supervisory Probation Period.

DUTIES:
This position is located in the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If you are selected for this position, you will serve as the Director, End User Services Division. In this capacity, you will  support the end user services for TSA and ensure productivity of TSA and its employees through delivery and support of customer-focused project management and product support. You will be actively involved in strategic, tactical and resource planning as a primary contributor to OIT, TSA and DHS plans and budgets. You will manage a multi-million dollar budget and assists in budget reviews for all TSA IT major capital investments for large hardware, telecommunications services, and other applications.
Your duties will include:
•Coordinating with TSA Federal Security Directors, Local Airport Authorities, TSA HQ Staff, DHS Officials, FEMA, Department of State, GSA, equipment manufacturers and technology integrators to provide superior data communication support to TSA's Domestic and International Operations.
•Managing a large geographical dispersed workforce responsible for the following;  Desk-side support, Wireless support, Helpdesk, Land Mobile Radio, Enterprise Deployments and Enterprise Software Management.
•Providing office automation support to TSA's airport staff.
•Providing office automation support to TSA's HQ staff.
•Leading and developing people and processes to promote premier customer service, leading people and effectively managing a multi-million budget through acquisition and procurement related associated resources.
•Assessing IT issues, constraints and problems of an organization or program, and developing and implementing solutions across TSA.

Supervisory/Managerial duties include serving as a first line supervisor for the organization. This includes but is not limited to: strategic planning; communicating the organization's vision and objectives; setting priorities; assigning tasks and responsibilities; monitoring and evaluating performance of branch and subordinates; approving leave; and taking or approving corrective/disciplinary actions.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
For the SV-L Pay Band, you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-K Pay Band or GS-15 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in state or local government or the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience includes managing, planning, and implementing an IT support program applying expert technical knowledge and understanding of new information technologies and methodologies which apply to IT support functions for all stakeholders; and experience applying project management and consulting techniques to manage all phases of a highly complex IT End User project lifecycle.
