True North Logistics (TNL) has several immediate opportunities for Information Technology Field Service Techs in support of a government client. Successful candidates will provide timely and efficient general IT technical services.  These services will include desk side support to computer HW, SW, and other electronic or mechanical devices including clients, servers, and legacy systems. Technicians will also provide resolution of incidents that could not be resolved remotely and are transferred from the Service Desk to the site for resolution.

Education For Information Technology Field Service Techs: 
High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Experience For Information Technology Field Service Techs: 
-Two to four (2-4) years of related experience in information systems.
-Experience in SAN/Back-Up/Recovery technologies and operations in a fast paced,
Enterprise IT support environment are a plus.

Certifications Required For Information Technology Field Service Techs: 
A+ and OS Certification.  OS certification can be obtained within 90 days.  The OS
requirement is completion of Microsoft 70-685 – “Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Support Technician”.

The Warehouse Specialist Lead serves as working leader over employees engaged in a wide variety of distribution and warehousing duties involving receiving, storing, issue, shipment, and distribution of a variety of bin and bulk materials, equipment, and commodities using mechanized, automated, and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems. Distributes and balances workload to improve work flow or to accommodate unexpected work surges. Checks work in progress. Answers workers questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directions. Informs workers of changes in policies and procedures. Spot checks completed work for compliance with the Task Order on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract and Task Order. Warehouse Specialist. Uses DSS, must have MHE license, and be capable of operating forklifts with 4K, 6K, 10K and 15K capacity and Wire Guided Warehouse Cranes.



Requirements For Warehouse Specialist Lead:
Candidates shall have a minimum of two years related experience, of which one year shall be using the type of equipment to be operated, or specializing in required expertise.  Material handling equipment (MHE) operators will be required to obtain and maintain a valid operating permit for the specific type of MHE (4K, 6K, 10K and 15K capacity) operated during the performance period.
Employees must have a valid driver’s license and minimum education of HS Diploma or GED.

Description For Warehouse Specialist PA:
As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Warehouse workers shall possess a minimum of four (4) years general supply experience of which at least two years’ experience was spent performing warehouse duties. Must have a valid driver’s license to obtain forklift license. Uses DSS, must have MHE license, and be capable of operating forklifts with 4K, 6K, 10K and 15K capacity and Wire Guided Warehouse Cranes.

The transportation operations manager is responsible for supervising daily trucking operations across service areas for an assigned shift. The manager must coordinate and schedule cross dock and driver activities to accurately and efficiently process freight for delivery per customer requirements.  Compliance with customer and government regulations for US Department of Transportation Hours of Service, HAZMAT, U.S. Customs, and the Transportation Safety Administration requirements.  Clear and timely communication across the company and customer base is essential for success in this role


Essential Functions For Operations Manager Allentown PA Ex Military Jobs
1)Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles to achieve customer pickup and delivery requirements.
2)Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate warehouse dock staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.  Organize dock activities for optimal freight movements.
3)Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
4)Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
5)Implement schedule and policy changes.
6)Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
7)Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
8)Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
9)Develop criteria, application instructions, and procedural manuals for key processes.
10)Direct and coordinate, through subordinates, activities of operations department in order to obtain use of equipment, facilities, and human resources.
11) Direct activities of staff performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
12) Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits, optimizing costs and improving services.
13) Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property in order to increase efficiency and services of operations department.
14) Conduct employee training sessions on subjects such as hazardous material handling, employee orientation, quality improvement and computer use.
