to provide Supportive Services for Veteran Families in Central PA*, Southern NJ, and DE
We need to fill two full-time Program Manager positions in these areas.
Candidates should have an advanced college degree in management or a field related to social services.
Veteran preferred. Starting salary $45-$50K commensurate with experience; excellent benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SSVF Program Manager is responsible for comprehensive management of a fast-paced program reaching out to Veterans experience homelessness and rapidly re-housing them using all available resources, and quickly stabilizing Veterans who may be at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Operates with significant independence across a large geographic area, coordinating with local, county, state and federal agencies and non-profit partners. Duties include the supervision of staff, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Veterans and Veteran programs, and administering the activities and operation in a manner consistent with the grant and the mission of Veterans Multi-Service Center.
SSVF Grant Coordination:
Responsible for the successfully implementation of SSVF Program under VA and VMC guidance
Oversight of all budget and fiscal responsibilities within SSVF program
Successfully manage independent and highly mobile teams
Convene weekly case conferences with the Housing Coordinator
Convene monthly program monitoring meetings
Complete all monthly and quarterly reporting
Collect program goal and outcome related data
Ensure submission of monthly expenditure reports
Coordinate satisfaction surveys for all active Veteran participants
Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, public and volunteer groups
Develop and maintain computer-based case management system
Ensure that all client case information is up to date and accurate
Maintain records of staff attendance: sick time, vacation time, holidays, and substitutes
Educational Requirements:
Master degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree w/experience in business, social work or related field required
Experience Requirements:
Minimum three years management experience in a service organization required; specific experience in supportive services, non-profit, behavioral health or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills. Flexible, energetic, ability to learn computerized case management system. Understands and affirms the mission of VMC. Veterans preferred.
*Central PA grant covers ten counties: Potter, Cameron, Clinton, Centre, Union, Snyder, Mifflin, Juniata, Fulton and Franklin; experience in these areas preferred.
