Salary Range: $120,749 – $181,500
Position Location: Arlington, VA

The USCG is announcing a challenging Senior Executive Service career opportunity to serve as Director, National Pollution Funds Center. The Director of the National Pollution Funds Center directs the use of the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund (OSLTF) to finance all Federal oil spill removal activities conducted under section 311 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and compensate governments, natural resource trustees and other private third party claimants for oil removal costs and other damages under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA90).  The Director also manages a vessel financial responsibility program under OPA 90 to ensure vessel owners and operators have the ability to pay their oil spill liabilities as a condition of operating in United States waters as well as a cost recovery program to ensure liable polluters reimburse the OSLTF for all Federal oil removal costs and claims payments.

The selectee must attain a Top Secret clearance, complete a Personal Financial Disclosure Report, and undergo pre/post-appointment random drug testing. U.S. Citizenship required.
