WE ARE ESPECIALLY GRATEFUL TO:
The Vietnam Veterans of Ventura County for their many years of tender care and maintenance of the flags, the grounds, and for providing the time and all the labor that it takes to keep the Avenue of Flags going.  These dedicated veterans never ask for recognition but they come to the cemetery every month, sometimes every week, and they dedicate hundreds of hours so that these flags fly.  They honor the memory of all of the veterans that these flags represent.  We must also thank the Sea Cadets, Scout Troops, and all of the volunteers that have dedicated their time to raise and lower these treasured Veteran’s caskets flags so they may proudly fly every Veterans Day and every Memorial Day along the roads of Ivy Lawn.  They are Not Forgotten!
