General Description:
This position will serve as part of a comprehensive team of health care professionals providing high quality outpatient care in the Onsite OHS Health Center. Assist with screening new patient, triaging patient clinical problems, assisting patients with questions concerning symptoms, medications or methods of care. Employee will perform to deliver safe, therapeutic care in the Onsite OHS Health Center. Assist in the management of patients seen at the center, both during clinic session and management after clinic. Provide patient education regarding disease processes, medications, etc. and develop educational material.

Experience:
Three (3) plus years’ experience as a working paramedic required
Experience on Deployed Contingency Operations preferred
Vast Clinical Experience and Knowledge required
Military Service with deployments to other countries preferred but not required

Required Credentials:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
Associate degree from a community college or technical school sufficient to prepare for the NREMT examination is particularly desirable
Current paramedic license in state of operation or NREMT
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS and PHTLS recommended, but not required
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
Must have a current U.S. Passport

Qualifications:
Be physically cleared for duty to include being able to pass all MOD 11 pre-employment physical requirements and dental inspection
Be physically able to perform physical duties such as heavy lifting, kneeling, bending, etc.
Have a leadership mentality with a positive attitude
Ability to function as part of a team, as well as work independently
Knowledge of professional standards of care
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with others
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English and French Creole (preferred)
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office software and general computer navigation skills
