Senior Telecom Strategic Planner - Level IV - Afghanistan

PMG is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer (Level II) must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the global communication industry and a Senior Telecom Strategic Planner (Level IV) must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the global communication industry.

Required education and job skills:

• Possess at least a bachelor's (preferable Master's) in telecommunications or business 
• Possess excellent written, oral, and personal skills to liaise effectively with senior U.S. and Afghan Government leaders. 
• Possess a general understanding of FAR and have program management experience 
• Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, build consensus from competing views, and work as part of a small team within tight deadlines
• Be willing and able to and work daily with TF-41 forces in austere conditions across Afghanistan, function effectively and efficiently in a combat zone during extended periods of high pressure and stress, and operate outside the military secure zones.
• Possess demonstrated knowledge, proficiency, and/or working experience in the following:
• GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/UMTS
• Microwave communications technologies
• Fiber optics (land and undersea systems)
• Satellite communications/teleport operations
• CLEC operations 

Other requirements:

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• CURRENT DoD Security Clearance (SECRET required, TOP SECRET preferred)
