Sims Metal Management is hiring Mechanics for Morrisville, PA

Requirements:

•6 months minimum mechanical repair related experience in a heavy industrial setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Technical/Vocational School education preferred.

•Position involves standing for long periods of time, as well as, some heavy lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling and bending and working outside in all weather conditions.

•Employee should be able to climb and work at heights

Principal Duties:

•Power wash equipment

•Clean wash bay

•Services on equipment

•Organized and maintain spare filters

•Get hours from equipment weekly

•Clean the shop, and maintenance area

•Take out the trash

•Must supply own hand tools

•Weekly inventory of shop supplies

•Put away shop inventory

•Work night shift at the pier when a ship is being loaded

•Help out mechanics when they need help

•Clean parts for the mechanics

•Replace blown hydraulic hoses
