Full Job Title is Senior Software and Systems Engineer/Chief Architect/Chief Technology Officer.

This is a full time position located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

PEO C3T MilTech Solutions has a need for a Chief Technology Officer that has a broad technology skill set and can provide hands-on network and technical application support. In addition, the candidate should have a demonstrated ability to investigate, research and provide Government PMO recommendations on growing technology trends and available solutions, with an understanding of the ability for those solutions to work in the Army/DoD space.

The candidate must possess hands-on knowledge with:
•Authentication and Identity Management solutions utilizing open source product: OpenAM and OpenDJ
•Application Program Interface (APIs)
•Federated Solutions, Search and Discovery
•Information Assurance in the DoD domain: DoD 8500.2 IA controls
•Automated Security Tools NESSUS, SCAP, DISA
•Network engineering in the DoD
•Network analytics and trouble shooting
•Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, Linux
•Virtualization
•Routing/switching
•F5 load balnacer
•Databases

Requirements:
•Must have in-depth knowledge of the Army and DoD IT policies and governance
•Must be experienced in full life-cycle support including development, maintenance, administration, and management and provide a total system perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components for a project, and the overall computing environment and architecture in the DoD.
•Minimum of 10 years IT experience.
•Bachelor of Science Degree required.

Required Certifications:
•Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) – Server
