If you’re thinking of filing a claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs for disability compensation, schedule an appointment to have your medical records reviewed and your paperwork initiated and submitted.

Lori Perkio, Assistant Director with American Legion, will conduct on-site appointments with retired and active duty service members. If you are on active orders, you must wait until 180 days out from official separation or retirement to start the claims process.
