Finding and keeping a job, or a place to live, is among the challenges many Southern Californians face every day. But among those struggling residents, veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces must overcome very particular obstacles in the post-service battle to secure jobs and housing.
Join KPCC’s Frank Stoltze on Sunday, September 25, as he moderates an audience-inclusive conversation at The Crawford Family Forum. This discussion will bring together
- veterans and their family members
- organizations that assist vets with job placement and housing
- a VA of Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System Representative
for a candid exchange about the realities of life after service, which often includes long-term or chronic unemployment and underemployment, and homelessness.
Location:
474 S. Raymond Ave.
Pasadena, CA 91105
