KEY REQUIREMENTS:
•You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National.
•You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
•You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

DUTIES:
This Program Analyst position is located in the Office of Training and Workforce Engagement (OTWE), Security Operations Training Division (SOTD), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will serve as a Program Analyst within the Security Officer Training Branch. You will be responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, and assessing the effectiveness of the delivery and content of technical training materials used to support multiple major programs/functions including, but not limited to, screening technologies and screening procedures, as well as testing/assessment efforts associated with training products/courses.
Typical assignments include:
•Providing technical advice and guidance to the Director, SOTD and senior level management as needed on assigned program initiatives. Determining appropriate resource requirements and providing direction to accomplish assigned projects.
•Overseeing, developing, monitoring, and executing actions required to manage, and assist in the offices' resources and administrative functions for assigned projects. Executing the assigned projects within the Division's strategic and business plans.
•Contributing to the development of long range strategic and short range tactical organizational goals, objectives and defining resource requirements.
•Developing and interpreting guidelines and providing management advice on the operations of assigned projects.
•Representing the organization at meetings, agency committees, panels, and other leadership discussions.

The major duties described above reflect the full performance level of this position. Typically, the lower pay band (SV-H Band) performs the same duties but will receive more guidance and training; and/or projects/work assignments may be less complex.
