About The Job

IDS International is seeking French-speaking candidates to fill an immediate requirement for trainers in support of the African-led International Support Mission to Mali (AFISMA). Deployments will be to several different Francophone countries in West Africa.

Requirements:
• Must have worked in US Army or US Marine Corps in 11C or 0341.
• Must have reached rank of E-5 or above or equivalent.
• Proficiency in French must equal or exceed 2/2 fluency based on the Defense Language Proficiency Test.
Duties:
• Ability to plan, design, and conduct pre-deployment peace support operations training for a host nation mortar unit preparing to deploy to AFISMA over ten (10) training days. The mortar unit will consist of approximately forty (40) officers and soldiers.
• Conduct live firing of the mortars for the purpose of orientation, safety, accuracy and fire discipline.
• Ability to train on mortar fire support and mortar unit logistics in support of the battalion in AFISMA.
• Demonstrate strict adherence to the Rules of Engagement and avoidance of civilian
